This beautiful and newly furnished and renovated historic pre 1877 school house is now ready for vacation rentals. The house has beds for up to 12 and is furnished with authentic Amish Crafted finishes. Enjoy this 4 bedroom, 2 bath property which boasts open air meeting areas including a spacious front screened in porch.

The School House is perfect for families or a large groups looking to relax and unwind together. Property is nestled within the Devil's Lake state park area which is known for natural beauty , rock climbing, swimming and outdoor activities. Walk to Devils Lake Park entrance and the new Tumbled Rock Kitchen and Brewery which is a favorite for all guests. This location is also close to Golf, downtown Baraboo and the Wisconsin Dells area. Devils Head Resort for winter skiing too. Prime Location!

Wonderful Devils Lake trip

We really enjoyed staying at the Schoolhouse. It is very close to Devils Lake and other fun places like wineries, Dr Evermore’s Sculpture Park and the Baraboo Candy Store. The house is clean and well stocked.

Labor Day Weekend 2024

We had a wonderful time staying at the Park View Schoolhouse! It was an excellent place to celebrate our son’s 3rd birthday with his grandparents. This location had the perfect number of amenities and ample parking. We enjoyed the vicinity to the park and brewery too!

Our family had an amazing week staying at this property. It was the perfect location for us, just minutes away from the free zoo, Circus World, Devil's Lake, and lots of good restaurants. We highly recommend!

Historic location near Devils Lake

Enjoyed the state parks and natural areas around baraboo. Took in some local businesses for dining and entertainment like Al Ringling and Tumbled Rocks brewery, and the Baraboo Diner. Great location and history.

Great place for a family gathering

We used this location as part of our recent family reunion, and the sleeping arrangements and seating areas were perfect. We could have used a little more counter space for preparing food, but overall everyone had an enjoyable time.

Great location, wonderful stay!

Celebrated my retirement with my sisters and close friends and this was a wonderful property for it! Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Loved sitting on the front porch. Also enjoyed hiking right next door at Devil's Lake State Park and had a great meal at Tumbled Rock.

Perfect family vacation home

We loved our stay at the Devils Lake School House! It was the perfect home for our vacation and was exactly as described. Our favorite part was the screen porch where we started and ended each day. I had my kids, my Mom, and my sister's family and there was plenty of room for all of us. The owner was very responsive and super easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house and would stay there again.

Devils Lake vacation

The schoolhouse was a perfect spot for our annual Devils Lake vacation. We loved how much space there is for relaxing and having fun as a family. We cooked several meals and the kitchen had every utensil. Eating meals on the screened porch was a treat. The 30-second drive to the Devils Lake entrance was as short as you can ask for. We all agreed we would love to stay here again.

Wonderful experience!

This place was great! All 9 of us plus two toddlers had plenty of room to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We could all sit at the table to dine and the screened in porch was our favorite! So close to the Dells and great stops in Baraboo for coffee, ice cream, and shopping. Would stay here again for sure!

Perfect Location

Perfect location to enjoy all Baraboo and Wisconsin Dells has to offer. We hiked Devils Lake and the Riverfront in the Dells. Enjoyed visiting and eating at Driftless Glen, Ishnala and Tumbled Rock. The covered porch at the schoolhouse was especially great for our gatherings. The schoolhouse is well accommodated and the owners were extremely responsive to our needs. Highly recommend the Devils Lake Schoolhouse.

Great Place for a Group Vacation

This property was perfect for a group. We particularly liked the 2 gathering areas, one downstairs and the other on the main level. Our teenage granddaughter loved the upstairs bedroom, and hopes to go back with friends to share it with them. It was beautufully remodeled and well maintained.

Fantastic communication with the property manager. Comfy accommodations for multiple folks. Really like the tall ceilings and parking for multiple cars. Great to see in the fall with all the leaves changing.

Awesome location, unique remodel

The remodel and expansion of this old schoolhouse was so much fun and had great spaces to eat and talk for a large family. We all had a good place to sleep as well. Best of all, everyone was motivated to walk and run through Devils Lake State Park because it was so convenient. Highly recommend!

Great place for a group!

Great location to the lake and skiing! The beds and linens were ridiculously comfortable! The huge dining room table made it easy for us to enjoy meals and play games. The nostalgia of the school house made it special. We really enjoyed reading about the history of the school!! Would highly recommend this house to any group!!
