The Downtown Digs

Our Mid-century inspired Downtown Digs is just a few blocks from Bentonville's top attractions and only a few minutes by bicycle from the popular downtown Bentonville Square and mountain biking trails. Fully renovated in January 2021, this house has two bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom features a king-size bed and the 2nd bedroom has two queen-size beds plus two twin trundle beds. You'll enjoy chilling out in the mid-century-inspired decor complete with retro furniture, art, fun lighting fixtures, and plenty of outdoor lounging area on the new covered deck with modern style outdoor furniture. A large yard gives kids room to run! For bikers visiting the area we have a secure storage shed on the property for you to lock away your bikes and gear securely out of sight.

Great place to stay in Bentonville

My partner, my parents and I made a trip to Bentonville and stated at Bob and McKenna's place. It was perfect for our needs. While we didn't take advantage, the house has a great kitchen and is fully fitted out with everything you would need to make some great meals. The place is in a great location, far enough removed from the hussle and bussle of downtown, but close enough to still enjoy all that donwtown has to offer. Highly recommend and would stay again!

Located wonderfully

The house was adorably cute and wonderfully clean. Plenty of linens, dishes and sleeping space. I visited for the Bentonville half marathon and it was located perfectly for that. I don’t think we drove more than 10 minutes to get to anything while we stayed. I hope we can stay here again in the future!

Great distance from the Walmart AMP and Bentonville’s best spots. The space is so cute and well curated we will definitely be back.

Cute, Comfortable, Clean

The size of the bedrooms were perfect for us and the two teens. There is a dinning room table which was great because we played a lot of Monopoly Deal. It was a little too hot to hang out outside which is unfortunate because the covered porch had a cute area to hang out. Only thing I remember wishing was having a full length mirror, or a more accessible mirror in one of the bedrooms to get ready in front of so I didn’t have to occupy the bathroom.

Amazing

The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was close to downtown, clean, and had an amazingly comfortable bed. The hosts made everything easy and we will definitely stay there again if we make it back to town.

Great Stay

My sister and I met in Bentonville for a weekend. The Digs was just perfect for us. The property is clean and cute. Everything we were interested in seeing was within walking distance. I definitely recommend The Digs!!

Bentonville charmer

Great place to stay! What we loved- comfy, cozy beds/bedding, convenient location, so many little extras provided by the host that we didn’t need to buy anything for our 3 day stay! The property owners have paid a lot of attention to detail so you feel right at home. The home is on a very quiet street- which is you’ve ever had a vrbo that isn’t then you know how important this is!! We stayed with our three kids and were very comfortable.

Nice spot for quiet getaway

This property was clean and comfortable and an easy walk from the Bentonville square. We enjoyed our stay and expect to book again in the future. If you enjoy circulating air while you sleep, as we do, you’ll want to bring your own fan. There are no fans or ceiling fans in the house, but it’s easy enough to bring your own.

Very pretty little house with a cozy outdoor area and lusciously comfortable beds. Much further away from downtown than we expected and the firepit, when it was delivered, didn't seem safe for the wood we'd brought.

The home met our needs just right.

Please note that, to me, a rating of 5 means exceeds expectations. We were very content with this home. It was clean; is in a quiet neighborhood; within easy walking distance to several good restaurants (but we wish Bentonville would have sidewalks or shoulders on the roads); furnishings were fine and the kitchen was well equipped; the flowers outside were a nice touch. It would have been delightful to enjoy the pleasant outdoor covered deck, but the weather was just too hot the week we were there. The A/C kept the house cool but was unusually noisy. Fearing that it might be broken, we reported that to the owner but did not hear back on the findings. This is a good place to stay while you enjoy exploring Bentonville.

My daughter and I enjoyed this lovely place close to restaurants and Crystal Bridges museum. Lovely decor! This home was very clean and the beds were comfy. Love the front deck space for relaxing. The neighborhood seemed very quiet.

Rainy bentonville stay

It rained most of the time but we made the most of it and I asked for a late checkout to stay longer in the afternoon and the owners allowed it which was very nice. Thankful to have them as our hosts!

Great spot close to biking yet quiet

We rented this to be close to trails. The property had great spaces, was very clean, and we loved the outdoor chairs to hang out on. Our only issue was there was not many channels on the tv and we couldn’t watch March madness basketball games and the pillows were not comfortable. We appreciated the washer dryer and nice bathroom. There are no tvs in bedrooms. The shed for bikes was great. The street was quiet Even with construction next door . Wish the bedroom had a clock

Great Place to Stay

Great location, well decorated, very clean, and plenty of supplies stocked. The only blemish we had were communication instructions for check-in process were a little late. We were traveling and cell/data on our part was possibly part of the issue. Still a great stay and would do it again if in town. Thank you!
