About this property

Beautiful new guest cottage, perfect for families!

Welcome to your private guest cottage, right in the heart of Northern Idaho! We are only 2 miles from Lake Hayden, 6 miles to downtown Coeur d'Alene, and an easy 15 minutes from Silverwood.
We offer a beautiful, brand new space, complete with 2 bedrooms, a short loft for kids to have a hide out, a full bathroom, and a large kitchen with all new appliances! We have blazing fast internet and a desk area for those of you who are working while on the road, as well as a large parking area if you have more than 1 vehicle with you.
We have mature fruit trees just right outside the door, providing a cool shaded spot to sit and read or enjoy a cup of coffee. We have built a great little loft into the space, to allow adventurous kids a place to call their own (and maybe to keep their toys out of their parent's suitcases!) We are especially proud of the brand new kitchen, with large beautiful countertops, a desk space perfect for someone virtually working, and of course, blazing fast internet!

Great Quilting Location!

My Sister and I spent the weekend at Emily's rental for a Sister Sew weekend. It was PERFECT for our needs. The lighting is amazing, spacious room for quilting, quiet, and no stairs to navigate, which made it easy for unloading/loading our stuff! The property was very clean and had everything we needed, and what was not there, Emily quickly got for us (crock pot). I highly recommend this rental!

Calm, quiet, convenient

This property had everything we needed. It was easy to access and private while being located in town close enough to the highway that we could get anywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommended as a base of operations while visiting Coeur d'Alene.

We had an amazing stay.

This home is beautiful and comfortable and was the perfect place to stay for our family when we went to Silverwood over Labor Day Weekend.

We are Cody, Emily, Everett, and Piper. We live in Idaho, but love to travel to just about anywhere! Everett is a well behaved 4th grader who loves cars, baseball, biking, and playing waterpolo. Piper is a creative 2nd grader who loves playing violin, horse riding, and drawing. Cody is a creative director, and Emily is a teacher.
We live in the main house, sharing a half acre lot with the guest cottage. You probably won't see us unless you want to though, we have fenced off the guest cottage to give you total privacy. Need anything? Please feel free to text or even just walk up, we would be happy to help. Plus, we make really good coffee.

What makes this property unique

Enjoy a full 1100ft home, large enough for families to be together yet still have space to be comfortable. Our target audience is really families like us - ones who enjoy having a real kitchen, laundry facilities in the home, a "secret" hideout loft to put all the kids toys, and a relaxing fruit tree orchard to hang out during downtimes. Who wants a hotel when you can have a whole house?
