You'll enjoy the beauty of the Black Hills from each window. Expect to see lots of wildlife, horses, goats, pheasants also on the ranch. Ranch owners living onsite. Perfect rural getaway with great amenities nearby.

Beautiful Country View

Love this place. Everything was just perfect. Would stay here again if I go back to SD. Love love love. Would give 6 stars if possible. They went above and beyong to make our stay great.

Labor Day Stay

The house was better than i expected. It had been updated and redone. Having two of the bedrooms on different ends of the house worked out well with two infants. The people who lived on a nearby property were super nice and answered any question we had. Great that the dogs we had with us had some space to run.

Perfect Getaway

The home is perfect for a Black Hills trip. Great location that is close to all of the attractions, but also not in a town. Paul and Nancy are awesome.

About the host

Your host

We have a ranch just four miles from this property and we love it here. We are minutes away from buffalo on the prairie to riding our motorcycles through the mountains. The scenery is fantastic and the local shopping and restaurants are inviting. We love to be "tour" guides for our guests, pointing out all the special attractions in the Hills not generally noted in tourist brochures.

This is a peaceful friendly community where you can meet locals and feel at home. You'll be treated like a friend and people are very helpful.

What makes this property unique

Our property is bordered by a running creek, pasture and you are more than likely to see all kinds of wildlife. The Black Hills are next door and within a few minutes drive you can be in the middle of a buffalo herd, or ranchers herding cattle. There are fun things to do within ten minutes of the property including wandering through caves, to kayaking on a lake. Just a fun place to be.
