Be steeped in the mid-century allure of this modern condo featuring sleek furnishings and eclectic decor. Slide open floor-to-ceiling glass doors to access a patio with a grill and dining area. Enjoy a swim in one of the largest Palm Springs pool surrounded by mountain views.

Ocotillo Lodge is the perfect mid century modern desert getaway. This complex was originally designed by modernist architects Palmer and Krisel and built by the Alexanders. Boasts one of the largest swimming pools in Palm Springs, 2 spas, community laundry, ample parking.

This ground floor 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit exudes mid century style and comfort. Gorgeous mountain views from the large private patio. Minutes from downtown Palm Springs for dining and entertainment. We do have a unit above us.

**NOTE ABOUT NOISE: You will hear noise from the road due to our location in the complex (closer to the main road) and also potentially noise from the unit above us. We have a white noise machine to help minimize these noises.

This is part of an HOA community and you will have access to the community amenities such as hot tub, pool and gym. Please note that we can`t guarantee the community amenities availability and operation during your stay.

The City of Palm Springs has resumed in-person meet and greets pursuant to
PSMC 5.25.070(m). “The Owner or the Owner’s agent or representative shall
meet the Responsible Party in person at the Vacation Rental or the Owner’s
or Owner’s agent’s office prior to, or within twenty-four (24) hours of, the
commencement of the occupancy and verbally explain and describe all rules
and regulations applicable to the use of the property as a Vacation Rental
and the responsibilities of the Responsible Party to the neighbors
and the City as well as the Owner. The Owner shall secure the signature of
the Responsible Party and all adult guests to a statement of rules and regulations …”

Set within the William Krisel-designed Ocotillo Lodge, the property is in the Twin Palms neighborhood of Palm Springs, a half block from the Ace Hotel. Downtown`s art museums, fashion boutiques, and restaurants are a short drive away.

NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.

This is a NON-SMOKING property - no smoking or vaping inside or outside the unit.

Any fines, citations or penalties imposed against us for actions triggering a violation of the City of Palm Springs will be deducted from the security deposit. Such examples can be found in our House Rules.

In the City of Palm Springs, Occupant must be at least 25 years of age or older. By continuing with this reservation, Occupant represents that they are older than 25 years of age and further warrants that other occupants are either over the age of 25, or are accompanied by an adult guardian.

NOISE: Palm Springs has strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals. In particular, we want you to note that `NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes.` I know, we all love our tunes out by the pool, but it`s just not allowed by law. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music coming from inside the home). Please abide by this rule so you don`t get fined by the police, and so we don`t lose our vacation rental permit.

OCOTILLO LODGE COMMUNITY RULES:
NOISE: Please note that this is a residential community, and be courteous when entering and exiting the building. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am, and sound carries through our courtyard style complex. To avoid noise violations being charged to your group, please keep your guests inside of the condo during the quiet hours. Keeping the windows and doors closed helps tremendously.

TRASH: If you need to take the trash out during your stay, the community trash bins are located on the west (mountain) side of the clubhouse.

POOL: The pool is in the central courtyard, and has posted hours of operation. Please comply with all pool rules, do not use the pool after the posted hours, and be courteous of neighbors in regards to noise level while you swim/sun. No glass is allowed at the pool.

PARKING: Parking is not assigned. Feel free to park at the gate closest to your condo.

SMOKING: All smoking, vaping, and use of e-cigarettes is prohibited in all Common Areas and Exclusive Use Common Areas in the Community (including but not limited to shared and exclusive use patios, pool, spa, Sunshine Bar, all walkway, parking lot surrounding the complex, etc.). “Smoking” includes, but is not limited to, any practice by which any substance (such as tobacco or cannabis) is burned for the purpose of inhaling its smoke. “Vaping” includes, but is not limited to, inhaling vaporized water, solvents, or other liquids to inhale tobacco, cannabis, or any other substance. “E-cigarette” includes, but is not limited to, any electronic device that vaporizes liquid nicotine, cannabis, or any other substance for inhalation. Any other smoking or similar activity which causes a nuisance or disrupts the quiet enjoyment of other Members or Occupants is also prohibited. Nothing in this Operating Rule A (11) shall pre-empt, limit, or affect any other Operating Rule.

Guests will be charged the TOT and TBID taxes.
HOUSE SPECIFIC RENTAL TERMS & POLICIES:
By booking this home you agree to the rules and conditions outlined at the Guest Terms page found by accessing air concierge online and navigating to the Footer where such terms can be found as titled Terms and Conditions Guest Terms - Air Concierge, as well as those denoted below. Should there be a conflict between the booking platform Terms and Conditions, and those listed on the link above or herein, then the terms most favorable to us as the Host shall take effect.

NO REFUNDS - Even the best or newest home has equipment that may occasionally malfunction and cannot be guaranteed operational 100% of the time. We promise to act immediately to remedy any issues, however, we do not relocate or issue refunds due to malfunctioning equipment or any other guest dissatisfaction or due to construction noise or any other items out of our control, unless the home is considered uninhabitable.

No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.
-Please respect check-in and checkout times. Check-in: 4pm-10pm. Checkout: 10am
-Primary renter must be over the age of 25, have a fully verified profile and previous positive reviews inside the booking platform.
-Host may request a photocopy of renter`s ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
-Maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a `show up` charge, even if no work is performed.
-Absolutely NO PARTIES or LOUD MUSIC.
-Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING inside or outside the unit.
-NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately.
- All rentals with 28+ nights require a rental agreement signed naming and identifying all adult occupants (must present valid ID).

***URGENT - PLEASE READ ***

Due to new stricter regulations in Palm Springs, now every guest who books a Vacation Rental in the city is required to receive the Good Neighbor Brochure and also have all guests in the party fill out and sign the Statement of Rules BEFORE having access to the property. In addition to that, we need a list of all guests` vehicles, including license plate numbers and also a copy of your Government ID.

Had a nice stay. The property was spot on as advertised. There was some road noise as expected and a bit noise from the upstairs neighbor which was not but overall the finishes, layout, exterior space and amenities were great. Although I could not find the gym - if it exists it must have moved somewhere. The only down side was the extensive paperwork. You have sign a 17 page rental agreement which fails to mention a 3000 security deposit hold on your credit card. You also have to meet someone for a physical check in during your stay which is an inconvenience inflicted upon visitors by the City of Palm Springs.

We have no complaints, everything was just as described! The condo was a perfect size for my daughter and me, very near grocery store and just down the street from the Purple Room which was our reason for being in PS. We will be back next year and hope this unit is available again!

A week in paradise!

We loved our stay. We were next to the street, but we slept soundly. The whit noise machine was nice to use. We love staying at the Ocotillo. We have stayed in several units and found this one to be just great!

Don’t come here with your family

This unit is in a great location. The complex is nice and has a great pool and jacuzzis. It’s walking distance to a Ralph’s and the Ace Hotel, which has a great restaurant. Unfortunately, that’s about the only good things I can say about this listing. As soon as we walked in the door, we were welcomed by the smell of what we thought was a dead rat. It turned out to be something that had rotted in the garbage disposal, which didn’t work. We had thought it was a dead rat because we watched a rat die on the patio when we first arrived. We let the management company know it was there, and while they assured us they were going to come clean it up, they never did. The robe in the closet had what appeared to be blood stains on it. The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars for cleanliness, and not 1, is that the bathroom was clean. In the end, I did this trip with my friend and we didn’t hang out much in the room, so we didn’t let it bother us too much. It served its utilitarian purpose. However, if this had been a family trip, I would have been very disappointed. This was the first trip I’ve booked on Vrbo, and it will probably be my last.

Bring your ear plugs!

The unit was clean( except for rug) . The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The complex was charming mid century modern. We did have problems with the shower drain backing up and the road noise drove us crazy! They did provide a sound machine which we found on the third night but it was not a restful experience. If you have good earplugs or are not bothered by constant road noise( unit on major roadway) the unit and complex are lovely.

What a terrific spot in Palm Springs to get your retro vibe!

This property has such amazing history, is a gated complex, very mellow and safe. The pool is the heart of the complex, meeting people from all over the U.S., while enjoy the rat pack music piping outside! I highly recommend this VRBO if you are just a couple or alone. I brought my teen son and he LOVED it!
