Quiet town, great house!

If you want a quiet retreat where you can relax, but close enough to the city you can go to the store or movies, this place is perfect! Would definitely stay here again!

Quiet location

Quiet location. Our family enjoyed this cabin in the woods for Thanksgiving. Kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the nice selection of family games and the outdoor fire pit.

Great Location

Family vacation

We had a fun time and the place was definitely large enough for our group of 25 people. The owners even accommodated us when we had an unexpected pet show up. However, the home was not cleaned. That is why the 3 stars.

Wonderful place for a family get together

I have family that lives all over AZ & we all converged on this great place for the weekend. The teens loved having their own space to hang out in the basement, the younger kids loved the playroom, there was plenty of room for playing family games upstairs as well. We all enjoyed a night by the campfire & many fun memories were made. Great place for families.

Fantastic property. Very comfortable. A lot of room for multiple things to do. Puzzles at the big table, warm fireplace to sit and relax in front of. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay!

Such a great escape from the heat and busyness of life! We sure enjoyed our stay here! It is in a quiet neighborhood, a great house with some fun furniture pieces. It had a large gathering area with plenty of seating, play area for the littles as well as an amazing yard to play games, enjoy the beautiful weather and sit around a fire pit while eating s’mores. We had plenty of room, and are looking forward to the addition being complete to invite more family and friends to join us!

This is a 10/10. Beautiful cabin, very clean. We all had a blast. There was alot to do for the kids in the basement. The adults had fun outside by the fire. All bedrooms were very clean and all had comfy beds. Thank you Craig for allowing us to spend a couple days at your cabin.

Very great for families!

We had a great time at this place! It was very accommodating and welcoming. One note to be aware of is there is not any A/C so on a warmer Arizona day it got a little hot but wasn't unbearable. The kids loved the trampoline, playroom, and basement. Lots of space to congregate as a family. The owner was quick to respond and we had a great time here! Would definitely recommend it.

Great property

We easily navigated our way to Pinedale from Phoenix. We got early access which was much appreciated as we were traveling with two families with younger children. Pinedale is in perfect proximity to both Heber or Showlow. We enjoyed the wild life that came through the property. The house was fairly well supplied with common needs. It felt pretty clean. As mentioned in the ad part of the house was under construction but it didn’t cause any problems and was very spacious. Check in and check out process was a breeze.

Awesome house in Pinedale.

Super quiet great location. The house is well furnished, clean, with a lot of room for family and friends. Plenty of parking. We took Rzrs and rode all day directly from the cabin. We will absolutely be going back.

Hello! We are the Connolly brothers! There are 3 of us that own and have enjoyed this property with our wives and combined 12 children. We want to give other families the opportunity to make the same memories we are making as an extended family up at the Road to the Past Retreat. We grew up in Payson and one of us married into a family in Heber. We enjoy having a place back up north that allows us to escape the valley heat and recharge in the cool pines.

What makes this property unique

We have remodeled the main floor and basement of the property and you should be very comfortable. The upstairs, and outside are still a work in progress. Once completed, the upstairs will offer parents a secluded hideaway and an outside sitting area to watch the deer come to feed in the evening.
