About this property

The Carriage House in SoMa

We accept pets, however we do have a 2 dog maximum and a $20 per night fee - also, please be mindful that we have a strict NO-Smoking policy that applies to the entire property. An additional $500 fee will be applied if evidence of smoking is found. Now for the space - we’re located in the SoMa district of downtown Little Rock. This original carriage house sits behind it's main house, both built in 1904. You gain access from the alley through a walk gate with a combination lock. On the day of your arrival Doug will send you the code to the gate and the Carriage House door. The entire property has been renovated and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in a residential neighborhood and an easy walk to bars, restaurants, museum, and shopping. For those with dogs(no cats), there is a dog and people park a few blocks away. Please message me if your traveling with pets. We have a two dog maximum with a $20 per night fee.

Quiet! Easy access to interstate and attractions. Nice area to walk your pets. Courtyard is great and relaxing. 2 parking areas allows parking for my self and one guest. Inside is amazing, clean and fully equipped. This was my second time and I will be back.

This place was super cute and ima nice part of time! I would love to stay here again! There was a small well enclosed yard for my dog to play around and they even provided poop bags! I would stay here again in a heart beat! Just be aware of the directions to get to the place, I didn’t read them till later and saw that we had to go to the back alley to get access to the property!

Geat stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House at SOMA. It is perfect for a couple. A variety of restaraunts are available on Main Street and it is an easy commute to Quigley Stadium for the Central game. Doug is a great host and we will stay here again. My only problem is this place is hard to catch available, which is a testament to what a great place it is.

Great spot, cozy bed!

I stayed here overnight with my dog. We had a great stay. It was a little hard to find since the GPS takes you to the front and I initially wasn’t sure how to get around to the back alley. It didn’t take me long to figure it out though. I really liked the shower and the furniture was very comfortable. I’d stay here again when I pass through

What a lovely little carriage house this is. It has all the amenities, is well appointed and conveniently located. There is parking space on the premises and a private fenced in area. The hosts are gracious and accept pets so one can allow their four legged traveling companions to stretch their legs.

Perfect little home base

Two blocks from the SOMA district of Little Rock where you can find cute shops and great food. Doug was an excellent and accommodating host and the carriage house was a cute, comfy, and clean place to land after exploring. Great little fenced and secured yard for hanging out or for a furry friend, too!

we really enjoyed our stay in Little Rock and loved the SOMA neighborhood. we are traveling with our dog Henry so dog friendly was very important for us. Absolutely adorable!

This was such a charming and comfortable place! I stayed with my Chihuahua after a long 900 mile drive and it was so perfect. There is the cutest little privacy fenced yard with a serene fountain for her and the place itself is so cozy and comfortable with every detail thought out. I wish I could have stayed longer!

What Every Vrbo Stay Should Be

Working with Doug was great! Simple check-in process, property showed great attention to detail in the residence. Provided snacks, coffee available, wonderful bathroom, paper towels in the kitchen ... very comfortable! Had a small, well-maintained yard that was perfect for our dog. Short and sweet stay

This was my second stay at this vrbo. It’s always clean (and I’m very picky!) The host is very responsive if you have questions. The bed is super comfortable, and the space feels very private. I usually just stay one night between Nashville and Dallas, but if I’m ever in Little Rock for an extended stay, this will be my choice as well.

Pit stop in Little Rock

The Carriage House was nothing but remarkable! I was traveling with my cousin and husky (Nala) and had to make a overnight stay in Little Rock. The Carriage House was very pet friendly and clean! 10/10 Stay! Devil is in the detail! Within walking distance to The Root Cafe, which was very tasteful! 😋
