Welcome to Selah by the Sea, the perfect place to pause...relax... and enjoy the beach life. This home is completely remodeled yet full of character and charm. Just a few short blocks to the Sea Wall makes it an easy 4 minute walk. Situated in Galveston's East end close to restaurants, shopping, and Pleasure Pier. The home features Smart T.V.'s in each room, central A/C, Wifi, private back yard with upper deck, covered lower patio, grill, fire pit and private off street parking! Washer/dryer!

Your home away from home. You will have everything you need to work or play from home. From high-speed Internet, to an outdoor grill, no detail has been left unseen. Home includes access to beach toys, umbrella, wagon, ice chest and more. The location is perfect! An easy walk to the beach and plenty of local restaurants. This home does not allow pets. If you are caught with any animal on the property you will be asked to leave, and will not be refunded. We LOVE animals but in order to maintain superb cleanliness we are firm on this rule.

Both front and back door have keyless entry. You can park for free on the street but we also have private off street parking in the back.

The home is located in a safe neighborhood which is mostly occupied by locals. This is NOT a party house and we request that you please respect the neighbors. The location is amazing. Super close and accessible to everything the island has to offer. This home is 720 square feet and is for a MAX of 6 people including children, only those on the reservation are permitted. NO PETS. If you break these house rule, there will be an additional fee of $100.00 per night and your reservation could be canceled with no refund. Booking Guest must have government issue ID verified.

There is so much to do. You can walk, bike or drive. Parking on this street is free. Uber is also available in the area. You're only about a mile from the strand as well!

Please note that this home is not handicap accessible.The home is elevated 6 feet and has steep stairs in both front and back, the home is 720 Sq. Ft., Reservations are limited to a max of 6 guest (If this rule is broken, you will be asked to leave and surrender your reservation) Please keep doors closed at all times, we are in a very humid region and bugs are plentiful, we have regular pest control service and work very hard and keeping our home free of pest. We ask that you help us in this by keeping doors closed and not leaving food out. You are more than welcome to use the washer/dryer (laundry soap not included)

Coastal getaway

Selah by the sea is such a great home. The cleanliness and amenities are wonderful. We enjoyed the neighborhood so much. There is a corner store and couple of seaside watering holes within walking distance. The home had everything we needed to be comfortable. Four windows look out over the neighborhood, the back yard has a hot tub, large seating area, and outdoor shower. Couldn't ask for better ❤️ accommodations. Thank you to the hosts for being so easy to communicate with.

Charming Cottage

Selah by the Sea was just perfect for the two of us over a long winter weekend in Galveston. Great location within walking distance to good restaurants, the seawall, the Pier, and the Bryan Museum. Very comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of supplies and thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. We would definitely return.

Owners were so nice! They also had chairs, wagon, cooler, and boogie boards in the basement that you can take with you to the beach. The beach walk was super short! We also found some really cute and cheap boutiques on the strand!! (But make sure you pay for parking) Loved the house! Had lots of extra towels and a washer/dryer. So cute!
