Shop 300 m, supermarket 500 m, restaurant, bakery 400 m, bus stop 300 m, railway station "Lauterbrunnen", outdoor swimming pool 500 m. Golf course (18 hole) 11 km, tennis 600 m, minigolf 600 m, cable car 500 m, ski rental 250 m, ski bus stop 200 m. Nearby attractions: Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn, Interlaken 12 km. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg, Mürren Schilthorn. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee, Brienzersee. Spacious and bright, partly renovated in 2022, tasteful and cosy furnishings: open living/dining room 35 m2 with open-hearth fireplace, cable TV, digital TV, international TV channels and flat screen. Exit to the balcony. 1 room 20 m2 with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen 12 m2 (oven, dishwasher, 5 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. On the lower ground floor: 1 room 28 m2 with 1 sofabed (130 cm, length 200 cm), 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room 15 m2 with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Exit to the garden. Bath/WC, double hand-basin. Upper floor: 3 rooms with sloping ceilings, each room with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Shower/WC. Balcony 35 m2, patio. Balcony furniture, deck chairs (6), box-room. Marvellous panoramic view of the mountains and the countryside. Facilities: iron, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 4 year olds (extra), hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Smoke alarm, fire extinguisher.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay in Lauterbrunnen. While the town itself was very busy the central location of Lauterbrunnen allowed us to quickly escape the hustle and bustle and explore the surrounding mountains. The home had everything we needed. For us as international travellers it would have been helpful to have some instructions on the laundry machines and oven, as the symbols were different. All in all a wonderful stay.

Great family vacation

We came to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday. The chalet was in good order and comfortable except the one room did not have the sleeper sofa. The view off of our balcony can’t be beat. We couldn’t stop looking at it.

Très beau chalet

Chalet au calme très bien situé, bien équipé, avec un accueil agréable. Très confortable pour 11 personnes. Malgré quelques équipements défectueux (lunette de toilette casée !). Contact local agréable cependant ne répondant que de façon intermittente.

Das Haus ist grosszügig und schön gelegen. Leider hat es viele Sachen, die nicht funktionnieren. z.B ist der Abfalleimer nicht befestigt, so dass er jedesmal rauskippt beim Abfallwegwerfen. Im Badezimmer oben fehlte der Spiegel, auch hat es keinen Schlüssel. Die Duschglastüre ist nicht dicht, es entsteht eine Wasserlache beim Duschen, der Duschkopfhalter ist nicht gut befestigt und wackelt. Beim Backofen fällt die eineSeitenschiene raus, es fehlt eine Oese oder was...... Kontakt schlecht.

Die bemängelten Stellen wurden zwischenzeitlich repariert, vielen Dank für das Feedback. Während der Hauptsaison, wenn das Haus durchgehend belegt ist, ist es leider schwieriger, Reparaturen durchzuführen. Aber wir versichern, dass nun alles wieder in Ordnung ist. Es würde uns freuen, Sie bald wieder begrüßen zu dürfen.

Fantastic accommodation in an amazing location

Three generations visiting Switzerland and this Chalet was just perfect! Amazing unspoilt views down the valley and to several waterfalls. Lauterbrunnen is a busy hub but this Chalet about 100m up from Main Street and was peaceful. Sleeping accommodation and bathrooms on all three levels worked really well for us, as did the large open plan living space. Really well equipped although could do with a couple more serving dishes. More clarity on refuse arrangements would have been helpful too!

Sehr schön gelegenes Chalet mit grossem Garten!

Das Chalet hat wunderbare Aussicht auf den Staubbachfall und liegt sehr ruhig! Sehr schöne Möblierung und viel Platz! Die Betten dürften für 2 Personen etwas breiter sein. Zum Glück waren wir nur 5 Personen und hatten deshalb grosszügig Platz in den div. Zimmern ! Der Aufenthalt war alles in allem erholsam!Danke!

Beautiful villa suitable for skiing in Weng

Big chalet, 5-7 minutes walk to the train station taking you up to Wengen. Very well equipped, fireplace, barbecue on the terrace. Well heated. We spent a very good week. It is rather expensive, ideally for 2-3 families to share.

The house is very nice and sweet. It really represents a warm home after straining skiing. It is well equipped with the exception of lights - in some rooms this is missing or the lightening is poor.

Ce chalet est confortable, propre et bien aménagé avec tout le confort nécessaire. Il a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes et permis à nos trois familles de vivre ensemble en ayant chacun notre intimité grâce aux trois salles d'eau/wc et chambres distribuées sur trois étages différents. Situé à proximité immédiate des commerces, restaurants et de la gare, il permet de profiter de cette belle région à pieds ou à vélos. Parcage est un peu délicat (route en pente et peu d'espace de manoeuvre).

De woning is oud. Alles kraakt en piept. Er zijn veel beschadigingen in de woning. Woning is ook erg vuil. Trapleuningen, deurklinken en handvaten zijn kleverig. Vloeren zijn erg plakkerig en vuil. Deze woning is ons tegengevallen en verhouding prijs/kwaliteit is totaal zoek.

Thank you for your feedback. We have been assured by our local colleagues that the property is always thoroughly and professionally cleaned and the only signs of stickiness is due to the natural wood that together forms the floors and handrails. Due to use over time, there can be small cracks in the paint where small drops of sap may come through. This is however the normal aging process and we ensure that the house is in a good and homely condition.

Chalet très agréable pour deux familles. Il est bien équipé, propre et fonctionnel. Les lits sont assez grands et bons. La cuisine est fournie en produits de premières nécessité. Les salles de bains sont rénovées, l’ameublement est moderne. Il est très bien situé, au calme et proche de toutes les activités de la région. On peut aller à pied à la gare de Lauterbrunen qui est une gare de départ pour toutes les destinations.

Tolle Unterkunft mit viel Platz

Alles einwandfrei. Super für grössere Familien oder auch Gruppen. Sehr ruhig gelegen und nur wenige Gehminuten vom Bahnhof. Einziger Mangel: Duschbrausen müssten ersetzt werden. Und Racelette Offen auch. Eine Seite heizte nicht mehr richtig und es fehlten die Schaber. Umgebung war mit Zigarettenstummel übersäht vom Vormieter. War wohl erst durch Schneeschmelze sichtbar geworden.

Tolle Lage

Das Haus liegt im Zentrum von Lauterbrunnen mit herrlichem Ausblick auf den Staubbachfall. Trotzdem ist es sehr ruhig. Das Wohnzimmer und die Küche sind für eine grosse Gruppe ausgerichtet und es hat ausreichend Platz.

Switzerland when locked down - COVID 19 2920

The chalet was fine but our trip had to unexpectedly be cut short due to COVID 19 & Switzerland restrictions put in place only 4 days into our stay. We had to leave 2 days early to ensure we could return to the UK

Insgesamt gute Unterkunft in sensationeller Lage. Verbesserungen sind insb. bei der Pflege des Gartens notwendig. Statt Gasgrill würde ich einen Holzkohlegrill empfehlen, Platz im Garten ist genug dafür da.

Todo muy bien. Solo se ha de mejorar la humedad y la baja temperatura de la planta baja, porque segun nos dijeron la calefacción se pone en marcha cuando la temperatura baja de los 21 grados. Esto hace que si bien en la planta intermedia y la primera se estè bien en la baja hay humedad y temperatura no agradable
