Kieran was an exceptional host. The cottage was a picture perfect stay. Fresh flowers, comfy beds, and two warm fire places. The grounds are so expansive for those walks in the morning. Lovely host. Would definitely recommend. Happy Holidays. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

James Tymon cottage is part of my mothers family history for over a century. The cottage is named for my great uncle who died in the great war. To maintain this traditional house and grounds I let it to guests to enjoy a wonderful week or two in a splendid setting of stone walled fields and old trees.

Why they chose this property

Apart from a warm and cosy cottage with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay the grounds have numerous prepared paths that will take you along by the river or up by the stone walled fields peppered by old trees. You may be lucky enough to glimpse some of the wild life like foxes, hares, wild ducks etc that share the farms 30 acres of land.

What makes this property unique

According to our regular guests it is a wonderful haven of peace and tranquility. A place to relax, reflect and unwind in this hectic world. It is alsoa great base to strike out fromtodiscover this part of Ireland with its numerous lakes and mountains with some of the best beaches in Ireland. Come and experience it for yourself.
