Hawks Ridge is an AMAZING property. The pictures do not do this property justice! The cabin is very large and spacious! Upon entering the generous driveway, you are greeted with some of the most incredible and 100% unobstructed views of Mount LeConte, the highest peak in the Smokies! It will take your breath away! Entering the cabin, the main level has an open floor plan, with a cozy living room, dining room, fully stocked kitchen, and a beautiful breakfast nook. There's a bedroom/bath on the main level too. Great for elderly people, or those that struggle up/down stairs. The top floor comprises of the entire master suite, with soaking jacuzzi tub. Bottom level has a game room with pool table, TV, arcade, followed by another large bedroom and bath. All three bedrooms have king beds with new bedding. Very soft bedding and great mattresses. Everything felt so clean and tidy. Upon arrival to any cabin I stay at during spring break, I always clean the first day. Welp, not this one! Yall, it was spotless!!! Off the living room is a large covered deck with rocking chairs, and outside table seating to eat. It was fabulous. Bottom deck holds the hot tub. It's a new hot tub and felt amazing. We listened to music, drank prosecco and mojitos and enjoyed the hot tub. The back yard is great for your furry little friend. But be advised that beautiful wildflowers grow in the backyard. Because of the slope of the backyard it's not going to be perfectly mowed as one other reviewer complained about. Uhmmm honey, I wouldn't mow that as there's nothing to mow, the house literally sits on the side of a freaking mountain lol! Also, another reviewer whined like a lil baby about the views being obstructed. Well, all I can say is, stop drinking so much Moonshine, as the views are 100% unobstructed and BREATHTAKINGLY beautiful!!! If you choose wisely to stay here, downtown Gatlinburg is barely a 15 minute drive. Dollywood and Pigeon Forge are also barely 20 minutes away. You are less than 5 minutes from the Smoky Mountains Arts and Crafts Community and I highly recommend for authentic shopping. Knoxville is 45 minutes away via Old Knoxville Hwy. This place is a gem. Bringing my sweet dog Teddy Pendergrass was an added bonus as he is literally my son and I can't imagine not having him with me. This house was just so lovely. Gilbert and Christina were amazing hosts. Upon arrival the cabin was staged so beautifully, with so many thoughtful touches. Ill be back for sure.
