The accommodation is spacious, recently repainted in white, functional, cosy, well equipped, well ventilated (Vmc kitchen and bathroom, ventilation grills on the windows)
The farm is next door with a small quiet herd of cattle
Near the house, 5 minutes walk, the Potager Haricaud, sells its seasonal vegetables at the farm, prepares your ordered baskets.
2 kms from the Ferme Auberge du Lac you can eat on site, take away your meals, buy the
farm products (short circuit, from producer to consumer)
2 kms the lake, with its observation huts, its marked circuit..

4 kms, Trie sur Baïse, our cantonal capital, offers all amenities (supermarket, pharmacy, medical group, shops, banks, post office, tourist office. Trie sur Baïse is a pretty Bastide, with its Carmelite Monastery where cultural events take place.

Many hiking trails around Trie sur Baïse to discover if you like walking
7 kms away the Lake of Castelnau Magnoac equipped for swimming, pedal boats.. with picnic area, barbecue, sale of refreshments
The Geocaching application (a kind of treasure hunt) will make you discover some free caches in the village and in the surrounding villages, it's fun the children love.
If you want to discover the region:
- 20 kms, the Lannemezan plateau, its large Wednesday market, the Demi Lune leisure centre and N'CO PARC for children
- the Pyrenean Baronnies, where the Pact of the Wolves was filmed, where everything is softness, hilly landscapes, colours... . The chasm of ESPARROS with its concretions of Aragonites, the caves of Labastide, the castle of Gaston Fébus in Mauvezin, the Gourgue d' Asque (or small Amazonia), the Cistercian abbey of L'escaladieu..

We are close to the Gers where there are many castles, historical monuments, beautiful villages including LARRESINGLE which is the smallest fortified village in France. The magnificent fields of sunflowers rub shoulders with the vineyards (St Mont wines, Armagnac, etc.)
