About the host
Hosted by Greg and Diana Thomason
Greg and I love Rexburg. Greg was born and raised on a potato farm. His grandparents homesteaded the land. I came to Ricks College and fell in love with him and the town. Everyone is friendly here.
We married 6 days after the Teton Dam collapse in 1976. I'll never forget the video of the house floating down main street. (I have some historical books in Yellowstone Loft)
We raised 5 children in this wonderful town. Each of them long to return. We spent our time motorbiking, camping, baseball, skiing and exploring all the beautiful sites surrounding us. Rexburg truly is the gateway to adventure.

Why they chose this property
Choosing to semi-retire, we decided it was time to convert our unique Yellowstone Loft (we've always loved the crazy history behind it) into a short-term rental. It was our desire to share the nostalgic charm of the early 1900's with the world! The doors in this early medical office still have original glass!
It was truly a labor of love. Greg and I renovated it by ourselves. Every inch has been painstakingly improved to provide a restful surrounding for our guests.

What makes this property unique
Location is a genuine benefit here. Everything you need is close, most within walking distance. We are close to several national parks as well. We tried to think of everything a guest could desire. Please let us know if there is anything we can improve upon.
Even though the Loft overlooks Main St, it's surprisingly private and quiet. Security is an added bonus due to the police department next door.
