After an insane 2 years of 1 bad situation after another, we found this Gem. All I can say is that EVERYTHING was perfect. Roxanne the host makes sure of it. This trip allowed me and my husband to reconnect like I honestly didn’t think was possible. Finding Lost Indian Camp was sent to us by God, a true answered prayer. Thank you again Roxanne for having this peace of heaven that allows for full soul rejuvenation. Amazing!!!
We loved the teepee and all the thoughtful touches and little goodies! Just hanging out at the fire, watching the fireflies, hanging out by the hammocks, by the creek, under the stars, horses and deer around...beautiful!
Glamping in a teepee has offered a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. This circular, conical design of the teepee provides a spacious interior, outfitted with cozy beds, rugs, heating/cooling, and even Wi-Fi and private bathrooms. Roxanne made the stay sweeter with cupcakes, muffins and coffee
We absolutely enjoyed everything about this Tipi stay. Roxanne is GREAT! Everything was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and over abd above special! We cant wait to return!!
This was a one night surprise trip i planned for my bf. I wasn’t sure how he would react to sleeping in a Tipi in December but he thoroughly enjoyed it just as much as myself! Roxanne has thought of EVERYTHING you may need for your stay. Even in 30 degree weather we were nice and cozy nestled up in the Tipi.
This place is special. If you are in need of getting away from the "real" world and fewling true peace and serenity, this is the place to be. Everything was exactly as promised and Roxanna is super down to earth and so pleasant to deal with.
My wife and I stayed here, and we absolutely loved it. It's quite peaceful and romantic. There were horses there and deer it was such a unique experience. We loved the tipi it had everything you could want. The host left wine, flowers and lots of snacks. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the fire pit next to the stream. It was absolutely incredible we cant wait to come back.
We loved every minute of our stay. The Tipi was fantastic! Roxanne the host thought of all the little details. The charcuterie board and chocolate covered strawberries were plentiful and delicious. So relaxing sitting by the fire pit at night and listening to the babbling brook. The sight in the morning of the deer and the horses just added to the whole experience. We will definitely be coming back!
Awesome experience!! Definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway!
Roxanne is by far the best host I’ve ever had ! It is peaceful and secluded. You feel like your on top of the world with nothing around but your just minutes from the highway. The setup is very clean and has everything you’ll need for a couple to rest and relax. The tipi is well equipped with everything you need for your stay , the shower and restroom are clean as well as a really cool set up. The fire pit area next to the creek is an awesome bonus to sit back and relax under the stars!
It was much more than expected. Very relaxing. Even though we had rain and it got down to 32 degrees, we stayed warm and dry. Roxanne was great. She had plenty of snacks and we were able to enjoy the campfire before the rain began. She also provided warm, hooded robes which were great to run to the shower and potty. Have told all of our friends to visit. MUCH better than a hotel room!
Where to start. The property is gorgeous, the tipi is super amazing, the details are beyond thoughtful. This was one of the absolute best Vrbo experiences we’ve ever done. My husband and I love nature but aren’t particularly into camping, this was so, so perfect for us. Roxanne is a lovely hostess and has thought of every single convenience you could want or need. Absolutely above and beyond. I just cannot say enough good things about the experience. It’s the perfect getaway.
This was an amazing getaway. I needed nothing. I did not leave the property at all/ Roxanne has thought of everything. I stayed for two nights, and will come back for a longer stay. For those worried about getting cold. Do not worry about that. The heaters had it so warm, that i had to turn them down. Everything was set up perfectly. I could live here.
First, I never really share reviews. This time, however, I felt compelled. The site and accommodation was very unique, but it was really the owner's attention to detail and so many unexpected additional delights that made this trip exceptional to me.
Second, I wanted to share that I stayed during the winter when the nights were below freezing. The owners again thought this through. The warm bed was beyond cozy and I had some of my best nights of sleep! You can book in the winter with confidence.
Our stay was everything we were looking for and more. Coming from someone who does not camp, glamp or anything less than 3 stars I was blown away and we cant wait to find the time to go back. Admittedly, the restroom was the most challenging part of my experience but EVERYTHING else far exceeded any expectations i could have had. Roxanne has thought of everything you could possibly need or want. While staying in a tipi might seem primative you would never know while you are staying here. The space feel large, and the temperature inside stayed comfortable the entire time. The bed was comfy, the flooring was soft under foot, and there was plenty of lighting inside. Outside felt magical, we lit a fire and watched the deer play in the field with the babling brook in the backdrop. As night fell the guide lights started to come on illuminating the path and the tipi while the fireflies fluttered around. It felt magical. We had rain for the majority of our stay and falling asleep to the sound of rain on the tipi was calming. It was one of the best nights sleep we've had in a while. And all of this is matched by Roxanne's hospitality. She stayed in communication leading up to our trip, had everything at the tipi for our arrival and truely opened her heart and property to accommodate us. I cannot say enough great things about the stay and whole experience. Thank you so much for having us and again, we cant wait to return.
So glad we found this little gem! By far one of the most unique places we have ever stayed. Roxanne is truly the BEST host and supplies you with everything you could possibly need. The chocolate covered strawberries were such a treat! We enjoyed a nature walk around the property and the serenity of the atmosphere! Perfect night away from the craziness of life and cozy and dry even through the cold rainy weather! Wish we could have stayed longer, but we will definitely be back! Thank you so much for everything!!
Such a fun and unique experience! Roxanne is the best host and makes you feel so comfortable and welcomed. Such a clean place and overall amazing place for a small getaway!
My wife and I enjoyed a quick getaway and throughly enjoyed our stay. Roxanne made it perfect, had everything that we needed and more! Great host and awesome communication. I look forward to coming back for another stay soon!
