Apartment in Art Nouveau villa on Lake Ossiach with free access to the lake

The apartment with about 130 square meters is located in an old villa that has been in the family for more than 100 years. The house was completely renovated in 2001 and offers central heating, satellite TV and free WiFi. You live alone during your stay.
The apartment is located on the 1st and 2nd Floor, there is no elevator. The rooms are stylishly furnished, the spacious living / dining room and one bedroom each have a balcony with 13 sqm, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, hand mixer, toaster etc. If you feel like cooking, you can use a full range of equipment including spices, vinegar and oil. If you are traveling with small children, we have a high chair and a travel cot ready for you. An extensive library is available for bookworms. Towels and bed linen are provided in full. The towels are changed after a week. You can use the washing machine for small laundry in between.
In the spacious garden, deck chairs invite you to relax. If you have small children, a climbing frame with a swing may inspire you.
You also have free access to the "Christa Bad" lido, which can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Here you can rent an electric or rowing boat. The water temperature is very pleasant all summer. In a short distance there is the possibility of water skiing, tennis and horse riding, as is a sailing school on site. With the Ossiachersee-Schifffahrt you experience a new view of the surroundings.
Around the Ossiacher See you will find a variety of destinations for hikes and bike tours, guides and maps are available for you in the house. You can enjoy magnificent views from the Gerlitzen Alpe, which you can also easily reach with the Kanzelbahn (10-minute walk). The summit is also a popular starting point for paragliders. Other nearby destinations are e.g. B. the castle ruin Landskron with a large bird of prey show and the Affenberg, where you move in the midst of Japanese macaques. There are also interesting destinations for children, such as Elli Riehl`s doll world or the Alpen Wildpark Feld am See. In bad weather, the Terra Mystika show mine in Bad Bleiberg could be interesting.
The region also has a lot to offer culturally. B. the collegiate church in Ossiach, the center of the city of Villach, the Hochosterwitz castle or the Gurk cathedral. The Carinthian Summer events are of international renown.
And if you have already seen everything, destinations on the Adriatic such as Trieste, Grado or Venice and also Slovenia with its impressive mountains of the Julian Alps can be reached in a manageable amount of time.
Finally, one last sentence: You spend your vacation in a historic house with a very personal atmosphere, in which a floor board may creak, but which also offers all modern amenities.
