We had such an amazing stay in Ellijay. We only stayed for one night but wished we had booked the whole weekend. The place is so adorable and Julie was so easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed the house. Everything went smoothly. It had everything we needed. The location was great for us to explore the surrounding area with quick day trips. The fire pit area was fun. There were a lot of deer running around too.

What a wondeful cottage for our apple picking weekend with the family! Beautiful crisp fall mornings and sunny days to be in Ellijay. Coming back to the cottage was perfect for making a meal with the well stocked kitchen. The fire pit was enjoyable to sit around after a busy day.

Great Mountain Cottage

This is a very cute and well appointed mountain cottage. Me, my wife, and college age son stayed here while visiting family for Thanksgiving. We didn't use the neighborhood amenities, but they seemed very nice. A pleasant and relaxing spot for sure.

We had a fantastic stay at this quaint mountain cottage over the holiday weekend! The place was absolutely adorable—charming decor and very clean. Visiting the local vineyards

Great place to spend the night while visiting the local vineyards. The house was easy to find and we felt safe since it is in a gated community. We loved being able to use the gas fireplace on a cold and rainy afternoon. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. It was very close to downtown Ellijay as well as several vineyards.

My husband Chris and I live in Tampa, FL. We have 2 young children and another on the way. We love to travel alone and as a family. We just bought our second home in Ellijay, GA and are hosting for the first time. We hope others will enjoy our cottage as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Our cottage is newly remodeled and will provide you with plenty of peace and quiet. Deer will often be grazing in the yard in the morning hours, and in the summer months lighting bugs will fill the night sky. Our 2 acre clot is private but not isolated, and our circle is about a 1/2 mile loop.

We love to sit on the front porch and grill while the kids play and explore the property, or have dinner on the back deck then light a fire in the fire pit in the evening. When you are ready to leave the house we are a short drive to Ellijay, or a 2 minute drive to the East park of Coosawatee at the bottom of our neighborhood. Here you can spend the day at the river fishing, or even grilling using the community grilling stations.

This is a great place for a family or for friends that want to unwind and unplug. Definitely NOT the place for the party animals.
