Great property, well supplied, absolutely gorgeous views and sunsets. All in our party noticed the cleanliness of the property immediately on arrival. Our group was there primarily for fishing the lake so we docked a 14 passenger pontoon easily at the dock which was nice as often docking can be treacherous with rocks and shallows but this was easy going. Property owner was very helpful with recommendations and info as well. Everyone enjoyed their stay here very much.
The Maple Cove Lodge was perfect. My family had a great time all week. We spend a lot of time on the beach because the area had full sun all day. Everyone enjoyed the canoe, paddle boat, and the water pad . The younger kids played on the water pad all day. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable I would love to go back again next year!
We all had a great time. The house and cottage had many options for sleeping and plenty of room to hang out. Lots of fun was had with the water toys. We plan to be back!
This property lacked nothing! It had all the appliances, miscellaneous item one would need, but usually forget (coffee filters, sugar, etc) Beautiful sandy beach, with kayaks, paddle boards & floats. Spacious dock we used for our pontoon boat. There was 12 adults, but this would be perfect for families too. Would highly recommend!
We had a fantastic stay at Maple Cove. The property is beautiful and pictures don’t do it justice. Plenty of room for multiple groups, we didn’t even need to use the cottage. Dock is plenty large for boating, and the kayaks/paddle boards were a major plus. Only item that gave us trouble were the keypads, a little finicky and we were locked out at first. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Anthony was great! His communication unbelievably quick! Houses are perfect for a large family and being comfortable . Updated kitchen And the sunsets over the lake were absolutely beautiful.
There is a reason this is the first lake house my family decided to return to and will secure our spot again for next year. It is clean, the property is large enough that if you or someone in your family needs their own space they can have it, multiple spots to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail, AC works wonderfully, the kayaks, paddleboards, and water mat- obvious plus, the additional bathroom downstairs also fantastic, communication with the owner was seamless, check in and check out was great- basically if I could give this property more than 5 stars...I would!
This home checked all the boxes for our 12 adult family members. Everyone had their own room. There were multiple places to lounge and relax, If one wanted some privacy from the group. The two bedroom cottage was a nice addition,as some of the younger adults wanted to stay up later than us old folks. We loved the private dock and beachfront. We kayaked, swam, fished, and had a campfire at night. All the rooms were air-conditioned. Both houses are decorated beautifully. We easily cooked and grilled all our own food, although there are plenty of places to eat in the area. You’ll need to bring your own linens and towels. Contact with the owner was easy and he even checked in on us during our stay. We’ve done a yearly rental for quite some time now, and this has been our favorite place so far.
This house is absolute perfection on Sebago Lake! We were 3 families totaling 12. There was so much room. The house was clean and nicely done. The kitchen was well stocked, there is access to a washer and dryer in both the main house and the cottage (with 6 boys that was fantastic). There are multiple outdoor seating areas you can enjoy right on the water. The AC works very well! The beach area was great for the littles, and the dock was big enough for many to enjoy, too. Any communication with the owner was very easy. We book a lake house every year. This is the first one we all agreed checked all the boxes and we will definitely be booking again!
The property was amazing. A lot of expense and care went into the renovation of this large waterfront home. First class. The dock was large and new. No trouble docking our 24’ toon. The dock and retaining wall formed what felt like a private pool. The cottage was a pleasant surprise- very nice and well cared for. The AC was great in both houses particularly on those humid 85-90 degree days. We had 9 people and there was plenty of room. Lots of places to relax both in and outside. All of it felt new.
This is one of the best waterfront homes we have rented and had everything you need for a great vaca including paddle boards and kayaks. Great place- highly recommend.
I would recommend renters bring a couple of fans, or the owner provide them, for the Loft. This space tended to be a lot warmer than the rest of the house and the fans made it workable. We had some 90+ days.
Our stay at Maple Cove Lodge was more than we could have expected. The property is gorgeous and so convenient for large groups. We stayed before my wedding and Anthony was so flexible and communicative with us, we couldnt have asked for more! Definitely worth the money!
The water views were wonderful and the house had a wonderful layout for many people with private spaces.

Disliked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Linens not included
Beautiful house but we were very frustrated that nowhere on the listing did it say that linens and towels were not included. We were notified hours before check-in that they were not included, by that point we were already in Maine and forced to go buy bedding and towels.
There were a few other minor complaints - 2 knobs on the stove were broken, washer was moldy, we found an empty/eaten Nutella jar and spoon in a drawer upstairs, and there was no drying rack/sponge for washing dishes.
The lake house is amazing. Great for multiple families to enjoy. Plenty of hang out spaces to enjoy. The location on the lake is great for boaters and the availability of two kayaks and two paddleboards was enjoyed by our group. The guesthouse with two bedrooms and full kitchen gave a couple of our guests some privacy and their own space to enjoy when they weren't at the main house. Amazing kitchen and all the equipment to cook or BBQ if you wanted.
