This cosy 110-square-meter apartment, located in a prime spot in Bad Sachsa, is on the ground floor and features 4 beautifully and individually furnished bedrooms—all with TV/radio—2 bathrooms, 1 large American-style living area with a comfortable seating area, and a separate dining area with a large table, 8 chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The “Salztalparadies” recreation centre features a wave pool, sauna, swimming, ice skating, bowling, tennis, a fitness centre, mini-golf, pedal boats, and an indoor climbing gym; Ravensbergcamp for everyone from 8 to 88 years old; “Kinder-Regenbogenland” for the little ones, the unique 100-year-old fairy-tale forest with its restored electric figures for young and old, Segway or horse-drawn carriage rides, the Harz Falconry Centre with its majestic flight shows, and the forest itself, perfect for all kinds of activities—from hiking (a 50-km signposted Nordic walking trail right outside the door) to downhill mountain biking.
Romantic carriage, covered wagon, and horse-drawn sleigh rides offer a break from everyday stress and are fun for young and old alike, allowing you to rediscover the Harz with its countless breathtaking landscapes in every season. Supervised forest swimming areas and many swimming lakes beckon in the summer. Anglers will also find plenty to enjoy.
Location:
On the edge of the Southern Harz lies the climatic health resort of Bad Sachsa, at an elevation of approximately 350 metres. The landmark of our little town is the Ravensberg, standing at about 660 metres. From here, visitors enjoy a magnificent view all the way to the Brocken and far into the Thuringian countryside. As the only mountain in the Harz range accessible by car, the Ravensberg is easily reached by anyone driving a car. It offers an interesting outing for everyone—from the “Märchengrund” for the little ones to the “Harzfalkenhof”—followed by refreshments at the Berghof at the very top. The nearby Grenzlandmuseum and the Cistercian monastery in Walkenried are also worth a visit. Mysterious mountain tunnels and stalactite caves reveal their impressive sides.

In winter, the Ravensberg offers extensive opportunities for alpine sports with its three ski lifts, cross-country skiing on the groomed 50-kilometer network of trails, and plenty of runs for sledding. Ski and sleigh rentals are available in town:
North, south, east, and west—everything is open to you.
