Villa Descanso has ALL the features that you could possibly want when looking for a location that's just right for your large group!

The main floor is designed with entertaining in mind. It highlights indoor/outdoor living at its finest - starting with views of the Pacific Ocean, Lands’ End and waves breaking on the Finistera Beach. A fantastic Jacuzzi that can accommodate up to 10 persons, an infinity edge swimming pool with a swim-up bar. Ample lounge & deck chairs for relaxing near the pool and the deck is complete with a pergola for shade, a fire pit, and a gas BBQ area.

Staying on the main floor and inside this villa you'll find an expansive living area that comes complete with a pool table, large great room with 46' flat screen TV, a media room with a 46' flat screen TV, Gourmet Kitchen with indoor & outdoor counter seating for 9, a 32' flat screen TV, and a dining room that seats 12.

The middle level has 4 bedrooms & the lower level has 6 bedrooms.

All Bedrooms come with all the same amenities which include: A/C, Ceiling Fan, high quality amplifier with iPod docking station, Individual Satellite receiver, Wi-Fi, Phone (Vonage & local dialing), CD/DVD Player, Speaker System and 32' Flat screen TV. Every bedroom also has its own private full-bathroom with all the luxuries including marble showers, granite vanities, full-length mirrors and closets. Additional essentials in each suite include a hotel-style safe for your laptop and valuables, iron & ironing board and blow dryer.

NOTE 1: *If you booking 7 nights or more, we will offer 7th night free for a little extra incentive! This discount applies to all trips EXCEPT Christmas & New Years' weeks as we have a 7 night minimum stay for those time frames.

great time!

Our group of 18 had a wonderful time at Villa Descanso celebrating a 40th birthday. The house was great and the staff was excellent. Fortunato was a fabulous cook for breafast, lunch and dinner! He was extremely helpful in helping make our weekend a success! I would highly recommend this house, especially for large groups. The 9 bedrooms were very comfortable for all of us. Lulu was also very helpful and helped make the weekend a success. The view was beautiful and Pedregal is the place to stay!

Couldn’t Have Been Better!!!

Booked this beautiful property for my bachelor party with 14 of my best friends. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything from the communication with Amanda prior to our trip and Oscar and Irving once we arrived. Oscar and Irving took care of everything we needed from the moment we checked in. Everything from Costco/Walmart runs to cooking us multiple meals. Thank you so much for the great experience and I can’t wait to come back!

Unbelievable experience with house and staff!

The house lived up to all expectations - it was huge, with a great pool, hot tub, sound system, fire pit, pool table. All of the amenities you'd want for 14 guys looking to have a fun, but adult, vacation. The house was cleaned every day, very safe and was always comfortable. Where this experience became truly special was the staff. Amanda was great at organizing all the details prior to the visit, providing recommendations and constant support. Always responsive and helpful. She even helped us add an extra night on at the property for just a few of us. When we arrived at the proporty, Jonathan (and Carlos) had margaritas and guac waiting for us. Jonathan made us feel so welcome, giving us a tour and telling me he can help with anything. We had so many delicious meals that they made - taco bar, fajitas, all types of breakfasts, etc. - and made in huge quantities for hungry men. It was all SO GOOD. A great vibe too, with no pressure or expectations, just a feeling of his wanting to help us make this vacation incredible. And it was. I don't know what we would have done without Jonathan, and we left truly grateful for his support. Thanks so much for everything!

Great experience…would stay again!

We had a large group of 8 adults and 5 kids and the house was perfect! The pool and hot tub were perfect temperature, the house amenities were great including the fire pit and pool table the kids got a lot of use out of. It was a quick cab to downtown and the view of the ocean was amazing. We saw whales everyday multiple times from the pool. Our host was on top of everything including scheduling drivers, tours, shopping and in-homechef service was delicious. We had a great experience and would recommend this home to anyone looking to enjoy all that Cabo has to offer.

5 Star Place to Stay - Highly Recommended

We recently stayed at this location for a bachelor party. It slept 16 of us no problem. The pictures do not do it justice - Villa Descanso is huge with plenty of room for all. It has indoor/outdoor living with pocket doors around the entire top level of the house along with plenty of entertaining space both inside and outside. Amanda is the main point of contact once you book the house. She is extremely responsive and easy to work with. Amanda ensured everything was lined up prior to our arrival and she was able to answer all of my questions leading . up to the trip. Oscar was the caretaker that helped us and he was amazing. He helped keep the house nice, made sure we had whatever we needed, gave us the lay of the land, called taxis for us, etc. We also had Oscar and the chef cook dinner for us one night and brunch another morning. I would highly recommend taking advantage of these guys cooking for you. The food is top notch and it is very affordable compared to going into down and out to eat. I can't say enough good things about this spot. I will definitely stay here again at some point.

Amazing Stay

Great stay from booking, to check in, and especially the stay. On site staff was amazing, and we took advantage of chef services available on site to keep our large group from having to cook and clean. Worth every penny! The food was amazing. Booking was easy, communication was quick, and the deposit return was prompt. Great experience across the board, and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great location/lovely place!

We went on a fishing trip here and loved the Villa. The house is very spacious, clean and modern. The onsite staff (Rodolfo and team) were super accommodating and nice. We were able to hire a chefs on short notice to cook us up a delicious meal after a successful day out on the water. We were all very impressed with the food and the cleaning service was phenomenal. Amanda was super helpful with our booking as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Accommodations!

Our group of 11 stayed at Villa Descanso for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The view from the pool and patio is unbeatable and the location provides easy access to downtown venues, golf courses, and the beach. The rooms (and entire house) was spacious and the staff does a tremendous job keeping it tidy. I'd highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing getaway to stay here!

Truly Memorable and Relaxing Experience

Villa Descanso was spectacular. My group of 18 stayed here for 3 nights and it couldn't have worked out better. We had the house's private chef cook us dinner 2 of the 3 nights and the meal was both affordable and delicious. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the pool, the large patio, and the main living room (which has a pool table). The house has cleaning staff tidy up each day, which definitely makes the experience very comfortable and refreshing. It was very easy to order taxis to come pick us up at the house whenever we needed, so it is not an issue that you cannot walk into town. When I booked the house, I was concerned that there wouldn't be enough room in the house for all 18 of us, but I could not have been more wrong. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were palatial and the house is big enough that noise doesn't travel down too badly to the bedrooms. The house management was incredibly easy to work with throughout the booking process. I could not recommend this place any more.

Better than pictures!

Normally you look at places online and they end up not being as nice as pictured...this Villa was BETTER than pictured. The rooms are gorgeous...all with huge well appointed bathrooms. The HUGE living space was comfortable for all 18 of us and set up for entertaining with TV's and card playing that we hardly wanted to leave. My husband and our friends played pool nightly. The cook (the breakfast and dinners were wonderful and came with a cooking demo) and cleaners were the very best part of the entire week vacation....I wanted to take them all home with me....can't wait to return...this was the best Villa experience!

Awesome house and service!

My group of 18 stayed for a week in this amazing house! The house, the view and the service are excellent! Some of us had the staff make breakfast everyday, and we all enjoyed a couple dinners. We were very happy with all the meals! In Cabo you have to have dinner at Sunset Da Monalisa. I highly recommend this villa!

Once in a lifetime

Our family of 21 people, aged 78 to 3 years were fortunate enough to spend two fantastic, happy, fun filled weeks at Villa Descanso over the New Year period to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my husband and myself. We were all thrilled with the spacious Villa, the view, the heated pool, the pool table, the fire pit, the very comfortable bedrooms and of course the huge kitchen. The young people enjoyed their daily trips down to the harbour or lovely local beaches, while we older folk had the use of a hire car or taxis. Fortunato and Sylvia, the housekeepers, were just great, nothing was too much trouble. Amanda was absolutely charming and helpful to work with in planning our trip from Australia. We are only sorry that we live so far away from this beautiful place.

We gathered at Villa Descanso for Thanksgiving Week 2015 to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday. It was the most perfect week imaginable. There were 16 of us, ranging in age from 70 to 10 years old, and everyone had a blast. Amanda was wonderful to work with as we planned our trip. She promptly answered all our questions and made great suggestions. The house was exactly right for us--spacious, comfortable, with terrific features like the infinity pool, the jacuzzi, the deck, the fire pit, the grill, the kitchen, the roomy dining area, and the fantastic view. Fortunato and Sylvia are jewels--friendly, helpful, reliable. A scenic walk to the beach, a totally secure neighborhood--it just can't be better than this. We'll come back!

Only way to do Cabo

Some friends and I booked Villa Descanso for a bachelor party weekend. I know I speak for everyone when I say the house blew everyone's expectations out of the water. Seriously, even the pictures don't do this place justice. It's a quick cab ride away from the beach and restaurants, and Fortunato and the staff on hand took great care of us. The view is unbelievable, and the accommodations were extremely comfortable. Very secure gated community with other unbelievable houses nearby. Five stars, A+, just awesome.

Fortunate sons...and daughters

This was our second stay at the owner's property and they are accommodating, friendly and extremely easy to work with....every request I made while planning this trip for 16 people was met with enthusiasm and a quick response from either Amanda, the administrative assistant or directly from Fred, the owner. If you don't have fun and relax when you're staying at Villa Descanso, then you're not trying! Our group of 8 couples spent 5 nights there and no one wanted to leave...The villa is beautiful and well-maintained and one of the perks of staying at the villa is the caretaker/chef/jack-of-all-trades Fortunato! He went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable. We enjoyed delicious Mexican breakfasts every morning, guacamole at almost EVERY meal and dinners that rivaled the best restaurants in Cabo. We all decided next year we'll stay in for dinner every night! Every couple their own room with an ensuite bath. We arranged for spa services at the house, which was very relaxing and easy to do in the spacious home. The fire pit was our favorite gathering space; our group enjoyed many hours around the fire, marveling at the villa and every detail that we enjoyed. I can't begin to describe how wonderful the owner and his assistant are to work with and we hope to be back again next year!

Beautiful luxurious villa - you can't go wrong with this choice!

My family group of 16, ranging from my 18 month old nephew to my 81 year old mother, stayed at the Villa Descanso over the holiday period. The house is beautiful with high end amenities galore and very comfortable beds! It was so much fun to soak in the pool and hottub, to shoot a game of pool, or simply to sit chatting around the fire. The caretaker Fortunado was so friendly and helpful, and made several grocery runs for us! Lulu’s daily housekeeping was also great, and made us feel like we were having a private hotel experience. The property has a great location in the Pedregal community, with fantastic views to the beach. A short hike up the nearby hill takes you to a fabulous view of the marina and Medano beach. A walk to town takes 15 minutes, and taxis are readily available and reasonable. All of our tour operators were able to pick us up at the house. Renting a villa like this is a highly recommended option to a hotel stay and Villa Descanso is an excellent choice!

Amazing vacation!

We were fortunate enough to stay at this amazing villa for just a few days. Not only is it luxurious, but it is very well kept and the caretakers were extremely accommodating. With such an amazing view from the pool off the deck it was hard to even want to leave the villa! The whole experience from start to finish was definitely something I'll remember for a lifetime. I hope to go back soon!

Amazing spot!!!!!

I HIGHLY recommend this Villa to anyone. The view is fantastic and the wait staff couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. The place is huge, but is on multiple levels so you never feel cramped or overwhelmed. Enjoy!

Yearly Getaway

Just returned from an incredible family reunion at Villa Descanso. This place is so amazing that we come back every year at Easter for a special family get away. The view from the deck is breathtaking! There is always plenty to do for all ages, with the infinity pool, the swim up bar, the pool table, and the computer lounge. Can't wait 'till next year!

The Pedregal as a community is only seconds to town yet has a feel of being miles from the city life and lights. It is a gated development with a high level of security, sometimes being called the Beverly Hills of Cabo San Lucas.

What makes this property unique

No matter which direction you're facing, there are beautiful views. To the South-East is the Pacific Ocean with unobstructed views of both the Ocean and the Finistera Beach. Looking to the North is the Pedregal mountain with its natural wind etched granite rocks that give the feeling of strength and permanency.
