Park your car and walk everywhere! You are only one block to the beach and Garden City Pier, steps to shopping and dining on the main strip, and a short drive to all the golf Myrtle Beach has to offer. This newly remodeled home boasts two porches, front and back, a crabbing dock on the marsh, five bedrooms, and four full bathrooms. The downstairs level has two bedrooms (one with bunk beds), a TV, refrigerator, ping pong table, and a foosball table. This makes it the perfect getaway for the kiddos while you enjoy some time taking in the marsh sunsets. The spacious great room will allow your guests to comfortably enjoy each other, while the open concept allows free flow conversation from the great room, to the kitchen, to both sunrooms. The Beach Break is perfect for a family getaway, your group golf trips, couples retreats, or a relaxing and fun girl's weekend.

Great stay in Garden City

This is a great, affordable house just a very short walk from the beach and the pier in Garden City Beach. Lisa is fantastic, a wonderful host. The house was just as advertised and everything was perfect. It's a good house for a group of friends who want to spread out a bit. Lots of sitting areas and places to gather. The ONLY thing about this house - and the reason for 3 stars on the location - is something Lisa has no control over. In front of the house is a parking lot, and in that parking lot, every night, the local "Carolina squat" crew rolls in with their souped-up pick ups and loud mufflers and cussing and challenges to "let's just go out in the street and fight". We didn't witness anything bad, but the language and the roaring up and down the street for several hours each night was irritating. I'm really surprised Garden City doesn't address this. This was not a factor to us - we still loved the house and enjoyed our stay. But if you're looking for somewhere that is quiet and peaceful by 10pm, this isn't it.

Good Location/cleaning & Maintenance Needed

Very nice location with a lot of spaces. Don’t have adequate cooking utensils. Maintenance is needed with a broken window and a broken chair. The air vents are dirty. The floor mats are filthy with a lot of dirts beneath them. Roach infested.
