Nestled along Florida’s Nature Coast, Island Place Condominiums offer a serene island escape surrounded by the natural beauty of Cedar Key. Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Pet Friendly:
Pets are welcome with a $50 fee per pet, per visit (maximum two pets). Pets must be approved, are not permitted on beds or furniture, may not be left unattended if barking, and must be cleaned up after outdoors. Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 charge.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Amazing location

The location of this place was amazing, you could easily walk to anywhere you needed. The back deck had a beautiful view, and the units are staggered so it gives you privacy from the neighbors. We will definitely be back!

Quaint Relaxation

We loved Cedar Key and Island Place! It was our first time to the area and enjoyed every minute. Island Place is a great location to easily walk to everything, watch the fishing boats, and dolphin play. We experienced some excellent meals, quaint shops and very nice people. We will be back.

We absolutely loved it. Perfect set up. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Perfect spot for dolphins. We loved setting on the balcony watching the dolphins. Very friendly and welcoming little town.

Beautiful property located right on the water. So relaxing sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. Great location. Property is 1 block from all the shops and boat ramps, you don’t need to drive anywhere. Will definitely be back!

This was a very clean spot right on the water, with fishing boats leaving within 50 feet from the outside deck in the morning. It is old Florida at its best. Though plenty of opportunity for technology exists, this is a great place to see dolphins, read, swim in the pool, eat great seafood and just check out from the cares of daily life....

Going around the coast

I randomly picked Cedar Key as a stop on our way home from key west/everglades. Cedar Key is a small charming town. The restaurants and shops were great. People are friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was great. It had everything we needed. Sitting on the balcony on the water was peaceful and relaxing. The pool was wonderful. New decking, great furniture and umbrellas for shade. Wished we could've stayed longer.

What a great few days we had here. Weather was gloomy. That’s ok because we were in super chill mode and walked around chatting up the locals. The unit was very clean and management very helpful and communicative. Very close proximity to restaurants, shops, etc. Overall great experience and looking forward to coming back. Absolutely love that we could bring our four-legged family member!! Note: The only reason I gave a 4 instead of a 5 for accuracy of online listing was the beach picture. The picture in the listing makes it look very walkable and useable, when in reality it is full of rocks and barnacles. It still was very enjoyable hearing the waves from the awesome deck. The unit itself was as pictured.
