A gem in The Marais

Carla’s apartment in the heart of the Marais made our stay in Paris magical. It’s a chance to get a taste of a very genteel Parisian apartment, with its gracious winding oak staircase, tall ceilings, thoughtful amenities (separate bath and toilet!) and in-apartment washer. Very clean and calm. Not for noisy folk, though perfect for us. Carla’s a wonderful host, helpful and super gracious.

Séjour agréable, endroit plaisant.

Appartement bien équipé, endroit convenant, hôtes amicables. Seules plaintes : odeur d’urine dans l’escalier (chat??), toilette minuscule.

Le locateur ( Clara Ardillo ) n’était pas présente à notre arrivée malgré les 3 appels et elle ne rappelait pas aux messages laissés. Son répondeur confirmait que j’appelais le bon numéro. C’est quelqu’un qui se trouvait dans la cour et qui la connaissait qui l’a contacté. Le Wifi et la télévision ne fonctionnait pas. Après 2 jours Mme Ardillo s’est apperçu qu’elle avait fait une erreur pour le mot de passe du Wifi qui était Incroyable !! ( EXIITEMUS-ORNABUNT?8-DELFLUUS-OUDTERIS ) Le boyeau de la douche s’est complètement brisé, j’ai laissé un SMS à Mme Ardillo car il était 22 h , Pas de nouvelles le lendemain même après 2 autres appels. J’ai contacté VRBO en CHAT. Quand VRBO a contacté la dame elle nous a rappelé en moins de 5 minutes et j’ai dût insister pour que le problème soit résolu le jour même. L’état général de l’appartement était délabré , lel moulures des fenêtres étaient endommagées et les trous laissés étaient moisis , la lumière de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas et il manquait une ampoule dans le luminaire du salon. L’espace de la toilette était si restreint qu’on n’avait pas de place pour se rhabiller. La porcelaine de la toilette était usée/ endommagée ce quo faisait très malpropre et l’espace autour de la toilette était malpropre. Nous sommes des voyageurs d’expérience, nous avons fait avec ce que nous avions ,c’était payé à l’avance non remboursable. Nous réclamons $1000.00 ( mille ) dollards de compensation. Nous aions loué un appartement à Rome
