Cabin in beautiful natural surroundings at the gateway to Hardangervidda.
Beautiful hiking opportunities in the vicinity of the cottage. Several fishing lakes with good trout stock. Only 1 km from the cottage is the spectacular waterfall Vøringsfossen. With a fall of 182 meters from the Hardangervidda plateau to Måbødalensom, the waterfall is considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Norway. For more tips and suggestions, the homeowner, an avid outdoor enthusiast who is very familiar with the hiking and fishing opportunities in the area, will be happy to help. Take a trip to Hardangervidda Nature Center, an exciting adventure center that focuses on Norwegian nature, climate and environment.
A short drive away is the beautiful village of Eidfjord on the Hardangerfjord. Here you will find stores and restaurants in beautiful surroundings. Here you will also find tourist information and opportunities for guided walks on foot, by bike or kayak. Along the Hardangerfjord are sights such as Trolltunga and Folgefonna National Park. For golf enthusiasts, there is a golf course in Maurset. In winter there are ski slopes just 100 meters from the house. The ski lift is located at Sysendalen Ski Center on Maurset, just a short drive from the cottage. Here are experiences all year round!
