About this property

Inn at Parkspring 1 | Self Check In | Parking

Location, Location, Location! Welcome to The Inn at Parkspring! Formerly the Parkspring Bed & Breakfast, we recently dropped the breakfast to serve Airbnb guests near and far as a boutique hotel.

ROOM 1: This traditionally appointed room features original hardwood floors on which a queen size bed sits. Adding to the comfort of this bright & sunny room is two sitting areas & a marble ensuite bathroom (w/ double shower heads!). The room also comes with one off street parking spot a block away.

The space:
This historic home was built in the early 1800s and has served many purposes. What started as a single family home turned into an antique store, then converted to a rooming house, morphed into a bed and breakfast in the 1980's, and recently dropped the breakfast to serve Vrbo guests near and far.

The location of the Inn at Parkspring cannot be beat. We are located downtown, just a half mile walk to the center of the Old Port. Our neighborhood offers you a central spot located in the heart of the arts district, on the edge of the tranquil west end neighborhood, and just a stones throw to museums, art galleries, theaters, restaurants, shops, and bars.

With just six guest rooms, our inn offers a peaceful stay, satisfying social guests or those seeking solace. Each private room, with private en-suite bath, is furnished with a queen sized bed, television (no cable, just smart TV with Netflix account), white noise machine, a reading chair (or couch depending on the room), and a mini fridge.

Other things to note:
The inn has been newly renovated and will still be going through some exterior transformations during the spring and summer of 2022. During this time, you may see construction type activities ranging from window replacements to landscaping. All work is completed between 10am-6pm unless otherwise communicated by host.

Wonderful!
Katrina was great! She sent all necessary information a day before- home was easily accessible and parking was across the street. We went to a show at Cross Insurance Arena and it was within walking distance- can’t recommend this place enough!

Too hot inside
Lovely Inn with great character and charm. Very nice common area with tea and coffee with dishes and mugs. The room temperature was an issue. It was way too hot. I reached out to the owner and she just said the temp will lower from 75 degrees to 70 and the heat will come on every 3 to 5 hours. I will never stay in a room /home where I do not control the temperature. She was not helpfull or unwilling to lower the heat. It was way too hot and dry. Furniture was sparse (a chair was missing from the picture) but functional.

Quick Business Trip
Awesome little spot, close to food and coffee! Was in town for a short business trip, check in was a breeze, communication was clear, no problems at all! The building itself was really awesome too, btw.

Well cared for home in great area.
The house was nice and the community coffee area was much appreciated. There are a couple restaurants within a very short walk.

Close to..
Super close to everything! Took advantage of ordering Holy Donuts and bringing them back for breakfast in the nook.

Host profile image
My husband and I started renting our one bedroom apartment on another hosting platform while traveling out of state. Before long, we had fallen in love with hosting travelers near and far and knew we wanted to take it to the next level by hosting full time.

After years of working at a wonderful property management company in town, we now own and manage our apartments and two small boutique hotels. We pride ourselves in customer service and do everything in our power to make sure our guests have the best stay possible.

We enjoy spending our spare time with our daughters, preferably traveling, whether it's by car, boat, plane, or train.

Safe travels!
