This wonderful cabin envelopes you in pine paneling and the front porch that overlooks a picturesque pond and almost 500 acres on the highest hilltop around! Close to Baxter State Park North Entrance and the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, this 2 bedroom,( 1 full and a set of bunkbeds) 1 full bath, has kitchenette and dining areas, with a loft above that could sleep 2 more. Located on a private estate in the Northern Maine woods, you are surrounded by peace and quiet. The woods are home to moose, deer, bear, beaver, bald eagles and a myriad of wildlife, including a white crow that calls Black Bear Pond home. Bring your ATV or snowmobile and access the trails from the property. Ample parking for cars and trailers Hike in the woods to our private 10-acre pond, watch the sun set behind Katahdin from a view point 100 yards from your doorstep, or just relax in the serenity of it all.
