The holiday house is surrounded by the natural landscape in Tanne im Harz.

The Harz Mountains are a true discovery for those who are looking for peace, but want to do something by the way.

On the mountain peaks, which you can conquer with the cable car, you have a wide view of the breathtaking landscape. Also a ride with the steam train from Wernigerode to the Brocken (the highest peak in the Harz mountains with 1141 m) is a true experience. The sports offer ranges from hiking or mountain biking in summer to skiing in winter.

For children there is an animal park with free entrance and a summer toboggan run. Also the dripstone cave Rübeland is certainly worth a visit.

The house has something special. Besides its fantastic location and unusual shape, it has been extensively renovated and modern and tastefully decorated. There are 2 bedrooms: one with double bed and one with a single bed, and 2 beds on a bunk bed. In the living room, from where you have direct access to your own covered terrace, you can make yourself comfortable. There is also another 2 person slack couch.

No desire to cook yourself? No problem, because there are many good restaurants in the area, where you can eat quite cheap. With a stay in this holiday home, you will discover a piece of Germany, as you may not have seen it before.

Eigentlich toll, aber…

Schön gelegenes Haus, leider war es nicht besonders gepflegt und auch in notwendige Reparaturen scheint nicht investiert zu werden. Dazu war der Hausmeister äußerst unfreundlich. Daher würden wir das Haus nicht noch einmal buchen.

Für das Wetter, es hat fast täglich geregnet, kann niemand.Aber an der Ausstattung hat es sehr gemängelt. Weihnachten denkt man doch, dass wenigstens einpaar kleine Utensilien (Kerzen oder Lichterkette etc.) vorhanden sind. Zum Glück hatten wir es mitgebracht. Für 5 Personen nur 1 Rolle Toilettenpapier, keine Müll- bzw. Hygienebeutel für das Bad usw. Vielleicht könnte man da mal nachbessern. Wir haben trotzdem das Beste daraus gemacht.

Die Lage des Hauses ist super. Guter Kontakt zum Vermieter, ebenso zum Schlüsselverwalter.

Wir haben mit 2 Erwachsenen und einem großen Hund angereist. Die Schlüsselübergabe ging ohne Probleme von statten. Das Haus liegt wie beschrieben abseits aber dennoch zentral zum kleinen Örtchen Tanne. Vom Haus aus kann man direkt los wandern. Im Haus haben wir alles sauber vorgefunden, rund herum und die Terrasse waren ungepflegt. Geländer der Terrasse an mehreren Stellen marode und 1 Stufe zur Terrasse wackelig und kaputt. Mobiliar der Terrasse war ok. Leider gab es in der Küche nur 3 Löffel, aber alles andere war ausreichend vorhanden. Insgesamt nett eingerichtet. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort genossen

Toller Kurzurlaub

Ein kleines Haus in ruhiger Umgebung. Man hat hier seine Ruhe und kann entspannen.Ausflugziele sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm.

Schönes Haus tolle Lage kleine Mängel Netter Vermieter

Bei Ankunft ging die Terassentür nicht. Ein Vorgänger hatte diese wohl beschädigt. Der Hausmeister Tino kam sofort um den Schaden zu beheben. Nach 2 Tagen stellten wir fest, als wir zum 1x den Fernseher anstellen wollten das wir kein Empfang hatten. Auch hier kam Tino sofort und hat am nächsten tag ein neues Kabel zur SAT-Schüssel verlegt. Leider melden Mieter sowas wohl nicht dem Hausmeister.. auch gab es nur noch 1 Teelöffel weil Vorgänger die anderen wohl weggeworfen haben mit samt den Joghurt Bechern o.ä.. Messer, Gabel, Löffel alles ausreichend da.. nur 3 Eierbecher (bei 4 Pers.) auch hier wieder die Frage warum teil sowas keiner dem Hausmeister mit. Er kann dann umgehend für Ersatz sorgen, wenn man Ihm das sagt. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr Positiv, er sagte uns das leider immer wieder Geschirr und Besteck abhanden kommt- Das Haus liegt sehr schön, ruhig.. aber leider war an Silvester auch hier das Feuerwerk aus der Umgebung zu hören. Wir hatten für unsere Hunde gehofft das dieses nicht zu hören sei. Die Terrasse ist eingezäunt so das wir unsere Hunde auch auf dieser mal frei laufen lassen konnten. Mit dem Auto ca. 15 min. bis Braunlage, dort bekommt man alles. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder vielleicht sogar mal im Sommer.

Schöner Urlaub

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in dem kleinen Häuschen, es war sehr ruhig und bei schönem Wetter auch die Terrasse gut zu nutzen. Leider fehlten uns in der Küche ein paar Sachen, so ein Brotmesser, eine Salatschüssel, Müslischalen. Auch wäre eine Matte im Bad sehr schön gewesen. Zum Glück war das Wetter fast immer sehr gut, sonst wäre es drinnen mit zwei Kindern zu eng geworden. Die Lage ist sehr gut und wir haben auch sehr gut geschlafen.

sehr ruhig und schön gelegen

Sehr ruhig und nett gelegen, man gleich vom Haus loswandern. Für Elektrosensible wie ich es bin ungeeignet, da 20 m unter einem Mobilfunksendemast- ohne Mast gerne wieder.

Looking back...

At first the Chalet looked a bit small compared to rentals I'm used to in Ireland but after a day or two it fitted us two like a glove. Don't know how it works with a party of six doh as it is advertised to hold. The outside is in need of a bit of TLC and the Chalet is also not so isolated and away from it all... Another Chalet is just next door a few meters away as is the Grillplatz & Shutzhause, the place used by Tanne for it's festivities. A gathering with pimped cars and boom music until midnight was a bit of a bummer on Saturday. So keep these minuses in mind. On the bright side, the inside is perfectly renovated, spot clean and well equipped, everything you might need is there. gratz to the keygirl who maintains it. She does a perfect job. The Chalet position in the middle of the Harz is also a great plus. Everywhere you want to go or do is almost on your doorstep, Kyfhauser Denkmal an hour (that was the furthest we went) and the rest between 30 and 40min max. I recommend, The Heinrich Heine way walk in Ilseburg (park at Das Waldhotel) and Der Teufelmauer With the Hamburger Wappen in Timmerode You can then walk the wall up to Blankenburg and circle back through the Forrest. All walks in the Harz are splendidly signposted by the Harz Klub they deserve a mention also. Ass odd it might seem I advice against going up Brocken with the Brockenbahn... It was a huge disappointment and the sight of the endless parts of dead trees looking like a warzone by acid rain did not help one bit. If You want to take a ride on the Steam train I recommend You choose a part of the Selketalbahn between Eisfelder Talmuhle en Quendlinburg. Nature at it's best. The walk between Tresseburg and Thale in the Bode valley is another highpoint. So Yes I can recommend The Chalet im pilzgrund, we had a satisfactory stay there in a beautiful scenery.

Das Ferienhäuschen liegt abseits von der Ortschaft. Der Gesamteindruck war gut.

Der Gesamteindruck ist gut. Das Haus ist schon etwas älter, aber trotzdem in guten Zustand. Wir waren im Winter dort, dadurch konnten wir die großzügige Terrasse leider nicht nutzen. Die Lage ist ideal, wenn man Ruhe sucht.

Rust en stilte

Dit is een compleet uitgerust huisje dat uitzonderlijk rustig is gelegen. Wij hebben er verbleven met 2 volwassenen en een kindje van anderhalf jaar. Slaapruimte is er voldoende, maar leefruimte is beperkt. Als het zonnig weer is, kun je prima op het terras zitten, maar dat hebben wij helaas maar één keer meegemaakt. Het terras kan goed worden afgesloten, zodat kleine kinderen er veilig kunnen spelen. In de omgeving zijn veel uitstapjes te maken.

Guter und erholsamer Urlaub

Der Ort Tanne (Harz) ist sehr gemütlich und ruhig. Gastronomie ist vorhanden, auch ein Café mit ordentlicher Kuchen wie auch Eisauswahl. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca. 8 km entfernt. Das Haus ist für 2 Personen und einen Hund ausreichend, es liegt mitten in der Natur und man kann von dort aus sofort mit ausgiebigen Spaziergängen starten.
