About this property

Welcome to Stayin on the Farm, a private and exclusive 40-acre country retreat. To reach us, you'll need to take a long winding road that passes a small chapel and goes over a pond. Once you arrive, you'll be delighted to snuggle up in our brand new barn guesthouse. The guesthouse is all yours and includes a bedroom, family room, kitchen, and bathroom. This is not just any old barn guesthouse; it has all the modern amenities of the 21st century. Don't forget to check out our other location, Stayin On Main, located in Historic Springboro.

This is a very private retreat. It was built for rest and relaxation. It is a place you can enjoy nature, explore the property, sit on the porch, and enjoy country living and fresh air.

A small stroll through the woods will take you to the little chapel built by the owners several years ago. The chapel is always open to Stayin On the Farm guest. It has quite a story; ask the owners when you see them.

Feel free to walk over to the dock house, and if you can swim, feel free to take out the kayaks, or sit on the dock with a cup of coffee and enjoy the fresh air.

Speaking of the owners, they allow you the privacy you need but are always open to a visit. The small farm is a working crop farm. You may hear the tractors running or the owner gardening, or the farmer plowing and planting in season.

We are located 2 miles from historic downtown Springboro and three miles off of 1-75., between Dayton and Cincinnati.

The one-bedroom guest house was built in 2021. Everything is new, plumbing, cabinets, electricity, furniture, and appliances.

Shopping, restaurants, and major attractions, Historic Springboro, WPAFB, National Air Force Museum, Wright State, Kings Island, UD, Lacomedia Dinner Theater Waynesville, and Lebanon, are located nearby. And much more...

Had a very positive experience at Stayin on the Farm. Host were great & very accommodating! We enjoyed fishing in the lake and spending time on the covered porch viewing glorious sunsets around the fire pit. Definitely a place we would want to revisit!

Great Staycation

We had a wonderful time staying at "Stayin On the Farm". Julie and Gary were fantastic hosts, very sweet and friendly. We fished and hung out on the porch in the rocking chairs where we saw a bunny every morning. The property was very clean and well thought out. We will definitely be coming back soon! The owners of Stayin on the Farm built the guesthouse for guests, temporary missionaries, and future property caretakers. They love to share their small farm with others. They have owned the property for almost 20 years.

Why they chose this property

The owners always wanted to live in the country. So they bought 40 acres and built a home, then a pond...then a dock house...then a chapel in the woods...then a barn and then a guesthouse all so others could enjoy the property too.The owners had always dreamed of living in the countryside. To make this dream come true, they purchased 40 acres of land and built a beautiful home. Later, they added a pond, a dock house, a chapel in the woods, a barn, and a guesthouse, all with the intention of sharing the property with others so everyone could enjoy its beauty.

What makes this property unique

Staying on the Farm is a peaceful, relaxing and quiet retreat. There is a small chapel on the property where you can meditate, pray, or simply sit quietly and listen to the sounds of nature. You can also enjoy kayaking on the pond when it's in season. There's a dock, dock house, and a large patio by the pond where you can fish with your own gear or just relax.
