Brought a small group from out of town to stay at the house for a quick trip. The house was great - plenty of bedrooms and it is an impressive property. Hosts communicated continuously and was quick to respond. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

The house was amazing!! We had 8 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of for privacy as well as gathering spaces. The pool was perfect for everyone to cool off in the afternoon. We enjoyed various places in Dayton during the mornings. Alise responded quickly to us when we had a question. It was a great week!

A magnificent property for executive retreats with many similar en suite, generously sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Each bedroom was individually climate controlled and super quiet. The first floor offers many grand gathering spaces for meetings and presentations. The location is very private at the top of a hill surrounded by lush foliage and offers many outdoor breakout spaces and activities within the privacy of the compound.

The house was great for our family. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The pool was clean and great for the family. The only two items were the outside landscaping was not the best. I know we have had a lot of rain lately but the grass was pretty long and the bushes were overgrown and a lot of tall weeds growing in the flower bed. Also, there were 9 different sleeping rooms but a couple of them connected so you had to go through one bedroom to get to another. It worked out fine for our family and their kids but each bedroom did not have its own private entrance. Overall great experience and we would stay here again.

This property is fantastic. Coming up the hill and seeing it the first time definitely evokes a 'WOW". The inside lives up to the same exclamation! We were here in the winter so didn't get to enjoy the outside amenities.

Perfect retreat!

We loved our stay at the "Manz" and it was the perfect getaway for our team. We love the historic property and secluded location, while still being close to anything we would need. Beds were comfy and the space was just wonderful.

This property is amazing inside. Very historic. Great rooms, spacious bedrooms elegant bathrooms and air conditioning in each bedroom controlled by its own thermostat.The grounds need mowing and some tree removal but the pool was awesome. We had so much fun on the water slide. I highly recommend this property.

This house is HUGE!! It accommodated our 15 people very nicely. We had a lot of space. We even played a "who done it" game in the library and had so much fun. We stayed in February and there was lots of snow in the driveway (they didn't have it plowed) so that made it a little slippery to get up the driveway, but when there's a will, there's a way! There are some repairs that need to be done, but then again, it is an old house (1917). If you rent, you will truly enjoy its grandor, space and beauty that it beholds.

Remarkable experience. This historic mansion needs some minor repairs but overall has been maintained well for its age. The inground heated pool was a wonderful asset. Sixteen ladies used this as the hub for daily bike rides on different area bike paths. We will definitely stay here again!

This beautiful mansion was a wonderful setting for a women’s retreat. Very clean and kitchen was well stocked for cooking. So appreciated the bar area and ice maker as well!

Terrific Family Vacation

This is truly an amazing piece of property. To stay in a true mansion, and learn more about its amazing history, made for a memorable experience for us all. Even though we experienced some A/C issues early on; our host Alise couldn’t have been more helpful in promptly responding to this situation, and any other questions we had during our stay. The family had a great time, and especially enjoyed the amazing pool area.

Great Retreat

Our group of 8 life-long friends enjoyed our stay very much. We loved the pool area, the lounge chairs and gazebo with seating. The beds, towels, kitchen were all very nice. It was a welcome touch to have the coffee pods provided. We look forward to your continued work on restoring the mansion and grounds! We are hoping to return next year.
