We had the best vacation for our family of 6 in Big Sky while staying with Big Sky Vacation Rentals at the MCV Cardinal Sanctuary. Our family travels all over with VRBO and the experience with Big Sky Vacation was absolutely perfect; excellent communication, easy access and very helpful in every way. The home was amazing and a ton of fun with incredible views. The location is ideal for taking advantage of all Big Sky has to offer and was a wonderful home to return to after various adventures. The hot tub and pool table were especially well utilized as well as the bbq and deck for dinner. We truly appreciated the professional communication and immediate response to any question or request. I would highly recommend staying with Big Sky Vacation and the home to anyone - thank you for one of the best weeks of our lives!!!

Amazing stay!

We loved this property and the proximity to Big Sky! Perfect ski in/ski out location. Management was very responsive when we had any issues, will definitely be back to stay! Hot tub and sauna were perfect for post- skiing.

Mountain Getaway

Our family was due for some much needed time away from the daily hustle of the suburb life. This home gave us everything we needed all in one place! We enjoyed the hot tub every day along with the beautiful landscape of Lone Mountain! Perfect place to reflect and gain some clarity. Nature is healing!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The owners had thought of everything. We were comfortable and happy with all the facilities. The managers were responsive and let us know who and when maintenance would be there. This was the absolute best VRBO type of stay we have had. I would recommend this home to anyone

Great house for two families!

Cardinal Sanctuary was a great spot for our group sky vacation. The house was well appointed for cooking meals in if you want, but also very close to restaurants. We enjoyed the amenities including hot tub, sauna, game room and popcorn maker :) Management was very easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions.

Big Sky Cardinal Sanctuary

Big Sky Cardinal Sanctuary was a wonderful home to rent while we were skiing at Big Sky. It was convenient, spacious, and accommodating. It had a ll the amenities -- hot tub, sauna, grille, Direct TV,, and great kitchen. A perfect spot for a great week. Thanks.

Laundry Improvement Needed

Great property and location house was beautiful and as described. The kids enjoyed the playroom and all it's amedaties including the hot tub. The bathrooms need new towels they were old and smelled bad when wet they should use some softener and a new laundry service.

Big Sky Perfection

Cardinal Sanctuary well exceeded our big sky expecatations!! The house was perfect for our group of friends and we took advantage of everything the house had to offer. From afternoon soaks in the hot tub to late night popcorn and movies this place felt like home. Try drinking your morning coffee looking directly up Lone Peak and not feelinf blessed. Fantastic scenic stay

Great stay at Cardinal Sanctuary!! House was perfect for our size group of friends. Check in was seamless, place was clean and ready, pre shipped goods were waiting for us, and all of the amenities made for a fun time at the house. Stunning views of the mountain (and our lines down Gullies!!) from the porch and hot tub. Sunsets over lone peak took our breath away. And while not true “ski-in/ski-out”, easy path up the street (1 min walk) to get to the White Otter lift (5 min walk) made for a perfect location without the extra cost of staying slopeside. Can ski 75% of the path back.

A little slice of heaven

We were seeking a place which could accomodate a large family and also had a beautiful view. We found it here. In fact, no one wanted to leave. The cabin had everything we needed for our stay. We awoke every morning with a spectacular view of the mountains. We were able to see some wildlife but, the kids wished there were more. Of course, there were some things that need to be fixed and hopefully these will get addressed but this is to be expected. I would not recommend this cabin for anyone with a disability or who requires assistance to walk. The cabin sits down off of the street which requires one to go down multiple stairs to reach the entrance. Unfortunately, we did feel misinformed regarding what was offered along with our stay. We were informed that we would reciece a free entrance to Yellowstone unfortunately, once we got there we were informed that they stopped doing this in the Spring. If you are looking for a place to relax with your family and have breathtaking scenery this place is for you.

The views are spectacular and we too often see wildlife around the home. I'm sure your comments about accessibility will be appreciated by others and we too would never suggest this property for someone with a physical disability because of the short flight of stairs down to the house. These are great questions to ask when booking a vacation home! We have already ordered the part for the downstairs tub handle that was difficult to turn and I'm sure you found our maintenance team's prompt response helpful during your stay. I am very sorry you felt misinformed about the Yellowstone Park Pass. We certainly would have still honored this $35 value if you qualified for the special...even if we weren't including on new bookings because of better offers. As we explained, the reason for not honoring the park pass special was because you only booked for 5 nights and the park pass special was only offered on bookings of 7 nights or more. We are glad you were able to take advantage of our FREE cleaning offer which was a value of $395. Great home with room for all!

We had a great stay at this property. It was about an hour from the west entrance to Yellowstone. Had a great time with the pool table and hot tub. The only “con” is that there was not a ton of food options in town. It was the off season, so this may be different in the winter. All in all we had an amazing stay, great responsiveness from the management company and I would highly recommend.

Great Spot Near Big Sky Base

Awesome property that can easily sleep 10 people. Walking distance to the base and amazing views. One request is to stock the house with more towels.
