Escape to Riverscape, a peaceful Mountain Home that awaits the entire family in Sapphire Valley. Nestled around Laurel Trees, Horse Pasture River and Waterfall all within walking distance. Located just minutes to Sapphire Valley Resort; golf, swimming, game room, fitness center and Fairfield Lake. During the Winter hit the slopes or Frozen Falls Tube Park.

Our area features shopping, restaurants next to Cashiers, Lake Toxaway and 1 hour from Asheville!

Located on a quiet cul-de sac backed up to where Little Hogback Creek spills into The Horsepasture River, the sound of waterfall can be heard as you relax in the back yard. Sliding glass doors in the living room overlook a large deck, private fenced back yard and fire pit sitting area.

The master bedroom is located on the main level with an ensuite bathroom featuring double vanities, spa tub, separate shower walk-in closets. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms with a full bathroom in the hallway.

There is a two car carport with additional parking for two more vehicles in the gravel driveway.

Nearby Hiking paths lead to the community greenway & a quick walk to the Horsepasture River.

We are a dog-friendly rental! Please note that we charge a $200 non-refundable pet fee. Please contact us before booking for more details - be sure to include the breed, weight, and age of all pet's joining you. It is up to owner's discretion to approve pets.

We had a WONDERFUL family vacation at this Beautiful mountain house. The house is just beautiful, clean, comfortable beds, with a well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. Relax at the firepit, the river or go for a hike to a waterfall in the neighborhood. It’s a wonderful relaxing vacation home. We stayed for a week and hope to come back next year!

New Years Break

We are a family of four and had a wonderful time at the home. The house is very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the fire place, many beautiful hikes and the kids got to ski an afternoon.

Beauty of the river

This house has everything you could possibly look for and need for an extended stay. It was beautiful inside and outside. The sounds of the river from the outdoor area is soothing. The walk down to the river is a little hike but worth it. The owner is quick to respond and friendly. We will be back

Great vacation place!

This property met and/or exceeded all our expectations! From hiking to the nearby waterfall and immediate neighborhood to enjoying the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities, we had a wonderful time. The house was well equipped and the fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We loved being outside on the spacious deck and the river behind was so peaceful. We are already planning our return!

Weekend getaway Vibe

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfectly clean and spacious with big beautiful windows to enjoy the view of the back yard.The first night We used the fire pit and grilled out, relaxed sitting around the fire listening to the river, surrounded by nature!Master bath was fabulous, the main floor is open and roomy, lots of hanging out at the kitchen island while we prepared our meals.Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful home and hope to visit again soon!Definitely visit the Sapphire resort, putt putt and swimming.

Wonderful place to stay near waterfalls with sound of a brook on back porch!

The home was lovely, definitely had a cozy cabin feel with the wood floors, ceiling, and gas fireplace. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook. Bed was comfortable. The tub in the master bathroom was deep enough to take a bath. Loved the sound of the brook on the back porch! Lots of beautiful waterfalls within a short distance!

Beautiful location and home!

This is a lovely home with all the amenities and a fenced area in the back for our 2 goldens. The river runs behind the home and creates a soothing sound that you can hear from the large deck and the fire ring area. The house is on a quiet cul de sac and its dark enough at night to see a large number of stars. We used the downstairs Master with the HUGE master bath and king sized bed but there are 2 additional large bedrooms and a nice sized bathroom upstairs, as well, so there's lots of room for family. We would definitely love to come back!

Great Getaway

My wife, two dogs, and me live in Florida. The house was a perfect getaway from the summer heat. Close location to Sapphire National Golf Club, only public course in the area.... The outdoor firepit was great. Go to the nursery in Highlands for wood. Ingles grocery was right up the street to take advantage of some outdoor grilling in the cool mountain weather. The fenced back yard for the two dogs was fantastic! Great waterfall hikes within a short drive. The 1.5 hour horse back ride through the mountains was terrific too. We will 100% be back.
