Right in the heart of the old town on Gerberplatz, below the castle is the 200-year-old slate town house. It rests on a mighty chimney made of quarry stone. As is typical for Eifel, the ground floor is covered with lightly painted boards.
From the house you have a beautiful view of the Rur with the bridge villa and the Scheibler gardens.
In the quarry stone cellar there are storage spaces for bicycles, skis, snowboards etc. Public parking spaces are located directly at the house, bus stop and underground car park are a few steps away.

The apartment is suitable for up to 4 people. Bathroom and kitchen are modern. The mix of old and design is what makes the apartment so special. Open the window, smell the scent of the trees, look at the Rur - rushing water. Fly fishing.
Metal-free feel-good bed made of solid wood with cold foam mattresses (160 × 200, Allnatura). An ancient baroque cabinet. Corner window: tower feeling!

Wohnung Top

Wohnung einwandfrei, groß und vollständig ausgerüstet. Die Wohnung ist modern im alten Haus. Toll. Monschau selbst hat sich im laufe der Jahre gewandelt. Restaurants durchweg unfreundlich, viele Geschäfte machen zu. Damit ist alles etwas heruntergekommen. Zusätzlich ständig Autos in der Stadt. Seltsam.

Eine sehr schön eingerichtete Wohnung in der Altstadt von Monschau

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und der Aufenthalt war mehr als angenehm. Vor der Anreise wurden wir vom Vermieter über alles wissenswerte wie Schlüsselübergabe, Parksituation und vergünstigte Psrkmöglichkeiten informiert. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und macht einen sauberen Eindruck. Auch das Badezimmer ist sehr hochwertig und schön ausgestattet. Rundum waren wir sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!!

Monschau im Herbst

Monschau hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, liegt im Ortskern und hat alles was wir brauchten. Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir würden dort wieder wohnen wollen. Vielen Dank.

Voor een koppel is het een zeer mooi appartement dat met zorg is ingericht. Wij konden de rust en de stilte in het huis en de omgeving zeer waarderen. Monschau is een prachtig stadje met een aantal goede restaurants.

Schlafsofa ist nicht für 2 Erwachsene geeignet. Wenig Geschirr.sonst alles gut

Wohnung ist schön. Leider war sie mit 2 Schlafzimmern ausgeschrieben. Das war falsch. Das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer war unbequem und für 2 Personen nicht machbar. Es gab wenig Geschirr und Besteck.

Sehr schöne Wohnung und ein wunderschöner Ort zum ausspannen.

Sehr schöne Umgebung und wunderbare kleine Lokale zum essen gehen. Mein neues Highlight für zu Hause ist der Monschauer Bier Senf :). Mit großer Sicherheit werden wir wieder kommen. Vielleicht das nächste mal im Schnee zur Weihnachtszeit. Ein Stern Abzug gab's für die Handtücher im Bad die nach altem Zigaretten Rauch gerochen haben. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Große,schöne und saubere Wohnung !

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und nichts zu meckern! :-) sehr zu empfehlen! Noch toller wäre es, wenn das Wohnzimmer ebenso zu verdunkeln wäre, wie das Schlafzimmer, da hier ein Schlafsofa steht, das zu nutzen ist, wenn man zu viert/dritt anreist. Kinderstuhl/Babybett waren jetzt nicht vorhanden, hatten auch nicht nachgefragt. Dafür waren wir erst die 2.Mieter! :-) Die Lage ist toll, am Rand der schönen Altstadt, die Rur plätschert vor sich hin. Alles, was der Tourist braucht ist in der unmittelbaren Umgebung! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich sag es mal so: verregnetes Wochenende. Aber das Appartement war phantastisch. Es hat die Sonne scheinen lassen und uns selbst draußen im Regen mit freudigen Gesichtern laufen lassen. Wir wollen gerne wieder kommen. Danke!!!
