Explore the Bøtø forest and the wild horses and take a ride on a pony at Møllegården in Idestrup. Guldborgsund Zoo and the Medieval Centre with workshops and jousting tournaments in Nykøbing Falster also offer great experiences for children. Hikers should visit the southern tip of Gedser Odde and Denmark's southernmost lighthouse. At the tip of the headland, you can watch tens of thousands of migratory birds in spring and autumn. Plan a day trip to Knuthenborg Safaripark and spend a wonderful day at Marielyst Strand.
