Welcome to our family-friendly 5 bedroom cabin in Wears Valley, TN! Nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains and minutes to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, our cabin is the perfect place for your next family vacation. With plenty of space for everyone to spread out, our cabin features 4 private bedrooms + bunk room/theater room + sleeping loft, each with its own unique charm. The cabin sleeps 14 guests (10 adults) comfortably, making it perfect for large families or multiple families traveling together.

Enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the large front porch or gather around the fire pit for a family campfire. Our fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals for the whole family, and our dining area is perfect for family meals. We also have two game rooms with a pool table, video arcade, and foosball for hours of family fun.

The cabin is only a short drive to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, where you can hike, bike, and explore the natural beauty of the area. Nearby, you'll find plenty of family-friendly activities, including horseback riding, ziplining, and tubing.

Relaxing Spring Break With The Family

The cabin and location were perfect. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit. All the glowing reviews were spot on. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who’s looking for a relaxing cabin not too far from the attractions of Pigeon Forge.

Beautiful Location and View

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The location feels secluded and private, but it's still close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The layout was great for multiple families and the wood burning fireplace, outside firepit and grill were all perfect for a classic fall getaway. Would definitely recommend!

Cabin is very comfortable,equipped with plenty of activities for guests. Grandsons enjoyed game room as well as outside hoops and cornhole, etc. Adults especially enjoyed fire pit and movie nights. Location is a short drive to trails & park as well as regular tourist attractions.

Perfect for our big family group!

We all enjoyed our stay immensely! The cabin was a perfect place to wind down after a full day of fun activities. The location is spacious, beautiful and peaceful and the cabin had everything we needed. The grandkids brought their bikes and loved that there was a large open area at the top of the driveway with plenty of room to ride. We looked forward to the relaxing evenings around the firepit each night. Our host Lauren was gracious and responsive to any needs we had. I highly recommend this wonderful property!

A great place to stay!

We had a very lovely time at Mountain Valley Lodge. All communication from the host was fast and accurate. The cabin and grounds looked exactly like the pictures. Was impressed by all the games for adults and children. The kitchen had every gadget you might need. It was very clean! Definitely would recommend staying there. We will be going back!

Perfect place to stay for our family.

The information about the cabin and was complete and accurate. The check-in/out procedures were clear, and the owners made this process very easy. Had a question about getting firewood for the outdoor firepit (a favorite feature) Lauren gave me a contact and he was awesome as well, worked it out so firewood was in place (and neatly staked) when we got there. Thanks Thomas. The cabin was beautiful, well equipped, and clean. the kitchen had everything we could use and more. There was more than enough room for five adults. It is close to all the fun stuff in Pigeon Forge. We had a great time and would not hesitate to visit this cabin again

Great house, location and host!

We had an excellent 1 week stay the week of 3/25/2024. The home was clean, good location - close to all amenities and activities, and the host was responsive. 2 families in the home - 4 adults, 4 kids and 1 larger dog - and there was enough room and everyone still had privacy. Things to note: - Stairs: Not overly cumbersome but if you have folks that have mobility challenges, it is something to consider and plan for your trip. Home layout: Main floor has quite a few stairs from the outside to get up to the main floor/door. It has kitchen, dining area, living room, 2 rooms with queen beds and bathroom. Also is level that leads to the backyard, front porch and hot tub. Basement has theater room/gaming area, bunk beds, 1 room with king bed & bathroom. You can get to the basement area from the driveway without any stairs but will need to use stairs to get to areas like the kitchen & living room from there. Upper level has primary bedroom with ensuite bathroom and loft and obviously stairs leading up to that level of the house. -Basketball Net: We couldn't find a ball (but, in fairness, didn't follow up to ask if there was one located somewhere) so if that is part of what you want to do, either ask the host if there's a ball or bring your own. -Kitchen utensils/tools: Ample kitchen items for use. If you like leftovers, those containers are minimal so maybe bring some. Also, bring items like foil for grill or saran wrap. Great home and host! We highly recommend!!

Great Stay

Everything about the cabin was just as pictured and described. We loved having separate areas on different levels—it gave everyone their own space. The floors and walls are a bit thin, so you can hear conversations through the vents, but it wasn’t a big issue. The beds were very comfortable, and the fire pit and hot tub were fantastic additions that made the stay even better. Although the neighbor’s house behind the property is close, we never saw them, so it still felt private. The kitchen is well-stocked and equipped with everything a chef could need. All the attractions we visited—Dollywood, Anakeesta, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park—were about 30 minutes away, and the drive was easy. Thanks for a great week!

Peaceful cabin for family of all ages

We loved being at the end of the street in a cove without another home on one side of us. The large yard was ideal for the kids to play outside. It was peaceful to sit on the front porch or around the fire pit and have a mountain so close by in our view. When I saw the large screened in porch in the photos I was excited. The beds were comfortable. Loved the homeowners story in the welcome binder. Beautiful, NOT dated cabin like some you see. Enjoyed being in Wears Valley…peaceful and not too far at all from Pigeon Forge. The walkers and runners in the family enjoyed the neighborhood because it wasn’t hilling therefore we could get up and continue those routines in the mornings.

Gorgeous mountain cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was beautiful and the Mountain View’s from the front porch were gorgeous. We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing in the rocking chairs taking in the view and mountain air. The hosts were very proactive in communicating with us! Overall 10/10.

Great place for get together close to park but far enough from town

Our three families with 6 total teens stayed in the house and it was perfect. The location is private and away from the crazy of town with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The National Park is a very short drive to popular trails and some hidden gems, but also close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg if you opt for that type of vacation as well. We were looking just to hang out together so we avoided town and cooked in most nights, which was perfect for our group.Lots of additional thought went into this house and kitchen has most kitchen gadgets you might need. Hot tub and game room are a bonus at the end of a day hiking. I would highly recommend.

Family Time is the Best

We had a wonderful family getaway at this beautiful cabin. The owner, Lauren was exceptional in taking care of any concerns that we had during our stay. if I had one thing to mention as corrective criticism, it would be related to the operations of the televisions. It was very difficult to figure out how to use these. I believe it you were used to using a streaming service It wouldn’t be a problem, but I had no idea how to do that. Highly recommend this beautiful cabin as a rental for you and your family
