SANA El Jardin Secreto has a Guest House we call SANA and is surrounded by tropical gardens. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps10 with a fully equipped kitchen. Solar hot water/2 rooms have AC/all rooms have Fans/cable TV in the master bedroom. Access to laundry room/BBQ/pool. There is a large covered patio, as well as 2 covered patios with hammocks. The master bedroom of the house has a queen bed with an ensuite bathroom/TV/radio/AC/fan and access to the balcony and double hammock. Main floor bedrooms each have 2 sets of bunk beds. Noami is available to cook for you. You can arrange that directly with her. As SANA is a co-operative when Noami cooks for you she does that independently. We have an English speaking tour guide and driver available. Our quests like SANA because it is a chance to be a part of the Dominican Culture, experiencing good people, good food, good music and being away from the rush of city traffic and noise. . Erick our manager will assist you for any requests you might have.

Canadian Travel Dialysis nurse having worked in Saudi Arabia (5 years) all across the US including Hawaii and in Canada (Ontario and Bristish Columbia). Have 2 daughters and 4 granddaughters after whom the 4 private rooms are named: Alicia, Abbigail, Aliyah and Emily.
Why they chose this property
When I bought this property there was only a little wooden house on it that the owners dismantled and took with them when they sold it. There was a mango and Euguero Tree, everything else now on the property I planted and had built.
the name SANA came to me while visiting Saana in Yemen in 1998 and thought that that would be a good name for a business should I ever have one as it stands for Sharon Ann Nickerson & associates. Thus SANA which happens to mean "heal" in Spanish from the verb sanar "to heal." el Jardin Secreto means "the Secreto Garden." in English from the story by the same name. A garden that had laid waste being tranformed in to a vibrant, alive and beautiful place of peace and tranquility.

What makes this property unique
A "Get Away" from the city hustle and bustle, noise and pollution. Quiet garden retreat. We have held weddings, reunions and Birthday parties complete with Payaso Peter ( Peter the Clown). Missionairies as well have come to stay on SANA.
