Iron Horse Lakes - remote getaway near Wichita, Newton and Hutchinson, KS

This is a great getaway, centrally located between 3 cities...Wichita, Hutchinson, and Newton. We are only 15 minutes from each! This is a better experience than a hotel. It is private and you can connect with nature. Enjoy the lakes, fire pit and patio, and the teepee. Those who stay are welcome to throw a fishing line into our sandpits!

PLEASE NOTE- This is a remote & awesome fishing cabin. Guests must bring towels, toiletries, and bedding! Also, this is the only home on the 35 acre property. However, we do have family and friends that access it on occasion for fishing.

Good some stuff was not working

It was an amazing property but the toilet stoped working and then the water in the cabin stoped working and the out door speakers where not working as well

Even better than expected

Much more interesting and private than it seems from just looking at it on Google Maps. The owners are great people and are super responsive to any inquiries. I will stay here again!

quiet getaway

thoroughly enjoyed our stay. great firepit. beautiful sunset and night sky. highly recommended for those seeking a rustic cabin away from the busy city life.
