A place to unwind!!

Tired of the over crowded city life? The "Coshanna Cabin" is a great place to come get some peace of mind in the Ozarks! We are a DOG FRIENDLY ONLY property. We DO NOT allow cats due to their desire to scratch furniture. Sorry for any inconveniences. Our fully loaded 1200 sf 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin sits on 1.80 acres tucked away in the Ozark Mountains!! We have a beautiful Westward facing deck to enjoy the evening sunsets. Flint Ridge Resort is a private gated community with 3 community pools, golf course and Restaurant, river access and float services are offered ON WEEKENDS ONLY (Memorial Day weekend- Labor Day weekend). You will need to call and confirm that your dates will be available and make a reservation. Flint Ridge Security Office requires us to submit the names of all guests and vehicles that will be entering. Guest MUST show guest passes each time entering through the security gate. There is a $200 tailgating fine you will be responsible for if you are issued a citation by the Security officers.

The property is DOG FRIENDLY ONLY and is an UNFENCED property. We DO NOT allow cats at the cabin due to their nature to scratch furniture, sorry for any inconveniences. Flint ridge is pet friendly but does have a leash law. We DO offer WIFI, but not cable. The TVs are smart TVs. We have lots of DVDs and they're a few local channel that the TV picks up. This is more of a place to come disconnect from all the stress of life.

IMPORTANT NOTICE We are a DOG FRIENDLY ONLY property. We DO NOT allow cats at the cabin. Sorry for any inconveniences. We have 3 surveillance cameras. One on each end of the house outside only. We do not live there. They are for us to monitor the property when not in use. .

We lived staying at April's place. Flint Ridge is a beautiful area, and it's so convenient to our son and daughter in law's home. It was quiet, peaceful, and most importantly, spotless! I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Natural Falls Vacay

Our first trip to this part of the state and our main goal was to visit Natural Falls state park and check out the Illinois river. This booking felt like home and the property owners were amazing to work with. It was cozy, quiet and had everything we needed. One night we all curled up in the living room and watched a movie....an entire movie...all of us! It was really nice having that family time.

The cabin was wonderful! The space was relaxing and quiet. We loved the porch and space was just right for us. We were close to the golf course . The beds were so comfortable. We definately recommend this to anyone interested in staying in and around Illinois River. You are within driving distance in any direction to activities, shopping in Arkansas. We would love to stay again to enjoy the river.

The Flint Ridge neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and the neighborhood amenities are nice (pools, golf and mini-golf, tennis, basketball, restaurant, access to the river). We enjoyed the amenities and also just relaxing at the cabin. It was a nice short getaway! It was nice to find a good affordable cabin where our kids could still have their own rooms and bathroom. Scottie and I love the river and getting away from the hustle of life. So we thought we would give others the same opportunity to enjoy our cabin as well. We do not live there. We get to enjoy it when others aren't.

Why they chose this property

Flint Ridge is a unique place to get away from the hustle of the city. Peaceful getaway in the woods. Everything you need is just 15-30 minutes away, from Walmart to the Cherokee Casino. Our 1200sqf roomy cabin sets about 1500 feet down the gravel road once you turn off the paved road. It is fully stocked with everything you need. We have a covered Westward facing deck to take in nature and enjoy beautiful sunsets from. The Golf course and 3 community pools are only 1/2 a mile from the cabin. Natural Falls State Park is only a few miles from the cabin as well. It is a great place for hiking. Flint Ridge offers float services as well. Prices, float times and rules are listed below....
CANOE AND KAYAK RENTALS
Charge is $20.00 per person and rafts are $70 (maximum 5 people) including tax.

ALL ADULTS MUST COME TO THE OFFICE AND SIGN A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND GET A PASS. Property Owners must sign a pass for their guests. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling the POA office at 918-597-2101.

Float season is from Memorial Day to Labor Day Weekend.

Float days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Launch times are 10:00 am, 11:30 pm and 1:00 pm.
Pickup times are 1:30 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm.
A $50.00 late charge will be assessed on any boat missing the last pickup time at 4:30.

What makes this property unique

Flint Ridge is a gated private community with several miles of Illinois River access and lost of amenities. Flint Ridge offers a 9 hole golf course, 3 community pools, a restaurant at the golf course, ATVs are allowed from dusk to dawn to drive on the paved roads as long as you obey posted speed limits and rules.
