The property is DOG FRIENDLY ONLY and is an UNFENCED property. We DO NOT allow cats at the cabin due to their nature to scratch furniture, sorry for any inconveniences. Flint ridge is pet friendly but does have a leash law. We DO offer WIFI, but not cable. The TVs are smart TVs. We have lots of DVDs and they're a few local channel that the TV picks up. This is more of a place to come disconnect from all the stress of life.

Fantastic spot to get away!

Loved this area. My mom wanted to come out here because she loves to get out in nature, and I wanted to see a place I would potentially move to. This place was in the perfect position and gave us all we needed to have a fun getaway weekend.

Wonderful!

We lived staying at April's place. Flint Ridge is a beautiful area, and it's so convenient to our son and daughter in law's home. It was quiet, peaceful, and most importantly, spotless! I just wish we could have stayed longer.

This house was fantastic. You have a neighbor but the location is very secluded. The house is very clean and well equipped. Great community. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and promptly responded to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Natural Falls Vacay

Our first trip to this part of the state and our main goal was to visit Natural Falls state park and check out the Illinois river. This booking felt like home and the property owners were amazing to work with. It was cozy, quiet and had everything we needed. One night we all curled up in the living room and watched a movie....an entire movie...all of us! It was really nice having that family time.

Illinois Rivee Float

Property was great location for us. Lots of privacy. We came to float the river and like the privacy vs staying at one of the resorts or hotel. Property was clean and very nice. We enjoyed it.

Scottie and I love the river and getting away from the hustle of life. So we thought we would give others the same opportunity to enjoy our cabin as well. We do not live there. We get to enjoy it when others aren't.

Why they chose this property

We have a covered Westward facing deck to take in nature and enjoy beautiful sunsets from. The Golf course and 3 community pools are only 1/2 a mile from the cabin. Natural Falls State Park is only a few miles from the cabin as well. It is a great place for hiking. Flint Ridge offers float services as well. Prices, float times and rules are listed below....
