Teide - Your home away from home

Welcome to Casa Ramón B&B where your comfort and superior travel experience are our top priorities! We recently moved to the village of La Esperanza. The location has changed, but the level of service is still top-notch, and the guestrooms are loaded with amenities you have come to expect from us.

Your private guestroom and ensuite bathroom awaits with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Newly renovated and decorated, your guestroom is equipped with many amenities, including high speed Wi-Fi6 available throughout the house. The ensuite bathroom includes over 30+ essentials (hair dryer, bathrobes, towels, toilet paper, dental floss, disposable razors, shaving cream, deodorant and much more). You are also free to use the shared kitchen, dining room, patio, and sittings areas. You will be staying in an authentic Spanish tranquil village with easy public transportation access to the beaches, airport, and all other points of interest. English and Spanish spoken. LGBTQ+ welcome.

Parking:
We have free safe street parking located 100 meters from the house. You can stop in front of the house to drop off or pick up your luggage. Please be mindful a large bus passes in front of our house every 30 minutes at the hour and half-hour.

The Teide guestroom is perfect for a family. It has a queen size bed (180 cm X 200 cm) that can sleep two adults. Adjacent to the bedroom is your private living room with a sofa bed (140 cm X 190 cm) that sleeps one adult or two children. The living room has a 55-inch smart TV with access to Movistar, Disney+ and much more. You also have at your disposal a highchair, and a playpen/crib. The private bathroom is equipped with everything you may need.

About the host

We are a gay married couple who love to share our knowledge and love of Tenerife with other. My husband and partner, Ramón, and I are both long time outdoor and nature enthusiasts. During college I became extremely interested in geology, and took many courses related to nature such as: Natural Disasters, Ecology, Oceanography, Environment Science and Sustainability and Earth Science. Ramón is a native of Tenerife, an amateur meteorologist and a keen amateur volcanologist, and a longtime member of a local environmental organization in the Canary Islands. We enjoy sharing our local knowledge with others and have been offering personalized tours to our guests and others over the past years. As animal lovers, we own two well-mannered Labrador Retrievers which have been rescued and adopted. With that in mind we allow one small friendly and well-mannered pet under 40kg. There is a onetime 20 euros fee due on arrival for the pet. Under no circumstances should your pet be left alone in the guestroom. We take great care to keep our dogs away from guests who are not animal lovers. We own free range chickens, and their eggs are a delicious treat for breakfast.

We selected this property because we love the outdoors and there are many hiking trails in the area. Even though we are in the countryside, it is less than 30 minutes by bus to La Laguna, a major city in Tenerife.

What makes this property unique

The house offers spectacular views, and we are off the main road to the Teide National Park, T-24. This area offers many hiking trails, and the start of the GR-131 (Gran Recorrido) is less than 2 kilometers away. We also offer cyclists access to our DYI bicycle repair shop and bicycle rental is available.
