In short, we would definitely return to this property. We had an excellent vacation at Storey Lake. The check-in process was excellent with host. The unit was perfectly clean and exactly as described. Beds super comfy. Lots of kitchen utensils to use. Laundry was a nice plus. Bring a few extra pods from home for washing machine and dishwasher. TV has lots of options for movie night - Netflix, D+, etc. need your own login info. I also airplayed from my iPhone. One thing I’ll mention is the futon sofa in the living area. It’s okay to sit on, but because there is a solid wood piece in the middle, it makes it impossible to sleep on. just wanted to mention in case anyone was relying on it as a bed. We absolutely loved Storey Lake. The property is beautiful. Each morning we woke up and walked around the neighbourhood. So peaceful. The pool and clubhouse were included with our stay. It does get busy, but easily found chairs for our group if we arrived before 10am or so. Water was nice and warm in Feb. lazy river was relaxing, water slides were fun. There is some food and drink options at the pool. They will check your bags upon entry for outside food and drink. Water is ok. We visited Disney and Universal a few days and the drive time was very quick. 10-15 to Disney, a little longer to Universal up I4. Super easy to find parking spot when we got home from the parks around 10-11. our stay was amazing and we will definitely be back to Storey Lake! :) thanks again!

Family vacation

Jose was our contact, and he was wonderful to work with. Fruit flies or drain flies were an issue right from check in to check out which was gross!!!! Location was PERFECT!!! We had to fight for pool chairs as people like to get up early and claim them with towels and then they don't show up until noon. Many of the loungers were broken by our smaller pool, which made it even more difficult to lay poolside, but, oh how we loved it when we did. Pool temps were always PERFECT! Guests were the same at the water park, hoarding tubes and chairs, to the point where they would carry tubes while on the mini golf so noone else could use them. Out of 19 nights, we only used the water park twice. Everyone is paying to be there and use ammenities, but, this mindset made it unenjoyable. This is no fault of our property manager, but, something to note. There was a lovely lady lifeguard there. It was great to see this as we've never had a life guard at a resort before. She took her job seriously and was alert, rule enforcer and extremely friendly. It's tough to find all of these qualities in a person. She was great with the kids! We met some very lovely guests along the way. The property is beautiful. The units were new and very modern, beautiful appliances. Lovely TV's throughout. We especially loved the fridge with the icemaker and water. Unit was equipped with everything we needed. Overall, great stay!!!! Beautiful property. Great location.
