Fabulous stay on the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence!

We had a terrific stay Bastide XVlll in Aix! We were greeted but the host’s mom Catharine who personally looked after our every need! We were greeted at the gates and were walked around the home and the estate where everything was explained to us in meticulous detail including historical references of this 200 year old family “hunting lodge”. We were personally escorted to the local supermarket to ensure we would not get lost on the way! This charming rustic home was absolutely spotless and had all the necessary kitchen utensils for cooking and grilling on the barbecue. The cherry on the top was cooling off in the swimming pool after a hot day of site seeing in Provence !Merci beaucoup Gauthier and Catharine pour une semaine “en familles” super sympa!

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour et nous ne pouvons que recommander ce lieu ! Nous étions vraiment dépaysés au milieu des oliviers et de la nature provençale, mais aux portes d’Aix-en-Provence. L’accueil était chaleureux, le logement très propre et décoré avec goût, et parfaitement équipé.Nous reviendrons pour un séjour plus long la prochaine fois !

Le charme absolu...

pour cette bastide où le temps semble suspendu . Tout évoque cette Provence traditionnelle que nous aimons tant: l'intérieur et sa décoration raffinée de meubles et tableaux XVIII d'époque, les extérieurs avec un panorama exceptionnel au milieu des champs oliviers .....Une mention particulière pour le gardien efficace et discret.
