This unique vintage campus area home is centrally located and updated with modern furnishings. Relax or work from this comfortable upscale retreat. The location is ideal and the neighborhood is safe and desirable. The home displays original art to purchase or to enjoy. There are many extra amenities to heighten your stay. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout, large windows, screened in porch and spacious deck in backyard. Large Living area has new 55 inch Smart TV with high speed internet, free WiFi, comfortable modern sectional sofa and reading nook. A powder room just off the living room accommodates guests and keeps bedroom baths private.
Master suite has new king size bed, adjoining bath with soaking tub and shower and opens to sun deck. Take a bubble bath in this spacious sun filled bathroom. Second bedroom has queen size bed and private bath with shower. This light filled room has nice window views, dresser and shelves for personal belongings. All beds have new linens , baths have soaps, shampoo, lotion and extra towels.
The kitchen is open to dining and is fully furnished with everything needed to prepare home meals. The dining room is connected with a bar and has a gorgeous 8 ft raw edge wooden dining table (seats 6-8) with banquette that doubles as a work space or more seating and opens to sun deck with outdoor dining table and chairs. The back yard is fenced and nestled among large shady trees.
*The Rainbow Cottage, a studio/guest house behind home is available to be rented separately and hosts 2 twin beds with mini kitchen, bath and outside private space. If interested contact host for rental information.

Why they chose this property

This property is ideal for travelers who want to be within walking distance to OU, parks and downtown and who want a quiet neighborhood that is safe and convenient. The Lions Park is close and has a playground, tennis courts and the Firehouse Art Center. The neighborhood is great for walks and bicycle rides. There is also a separate cottage in back that is optional to rent. It has twin beds, bath and efficiency kitchen.
