Delightful secluded cabin with all that you need for your stay and check in and check out was seamless and host very friendly and responsive. Beautiful view of the Muskegon River. Locals were friendly, close to Big Rapids for a run in to a restaurant if that's what you want to do.
We had a great stay. We needed some peace and quiet.. boy this place fit the bill. We truly enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. As we watched the jet skis and pontoons going by.
We also went to Schuberg’s for a great burger..
We will definitely be back!

Not what is was advertised.
Our first impression was it was wide open. The neighbors watched us whenever we were outside. The entire back yard was littered with dog crap, discarded building supplies, beer caps. No worries, we won't be back.
I had an absolutely wonderful stay. When I arrived, it was becoming clear that it was going to snow overnight and then get very very cold. I was thankful to have restaurants and grocery stores close! After stocking up for the weekend, I just stayed put, and relaxed, and really enjoyed the view of the river as I sipped tea and let the world melt away. Didn’t get to XC ski or FatBike, I was just too cozy. Maybe next time. Definitely will be a next time. This was just what I needed:)
Had a very good time, zero complaints whatsoever. Would rent again.

Average Stay
I wasn't thrilled with the stay but I think the pictures don't give justice or advise how far back you are from the water. Their is no spot for fishing off the dock, a huge tree is falling in the water blocking the way or even getting into the water. No information on where to go for that as an activity and no real lake access or a pass to a local lake. There is no sunlight that reaches the house. A ton of stairs. Also a huge amount of spiders in the house so something must not have been sealed properly, we had to kill 3 large spiders and another dozen smaller ones in the house that I have never seen before. The propane was left on when we got their for the grill and happy we realized quickly or that would have been bad. They also charged us for damages already done on site which is frustrating, but I'm not even that shocked about it as it wasn't a great stay. Just here to advise if you plan to stay more than one night and want to do any form of activities on the water this is not the house for you. Also take pictures of already damaged things in the house as it might bite you in the butt later.
We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was exactly as described—peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect escape. The setting was incredibly quiet, with a beautiful view of the river that we enjoyed every day. Our dogs had an amazing time too, which made the trip even better. Everything was comfortable and just what we were hoping for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature!
Our son graduated form MCO. He had to be on campus for the week prior. We chose to get the cabin so his father and I could have some family down-time before the ceremony. It was a perfect choice! very quiet and relaxing. Perfect for 3 adults. The view of the river is exceptional.
Spent a lot of time running on the new Dragon Trail. The hot tub was a magical way to relax after putting in some miles. The rental was perfect for a few night getaway with my wife.
Transaction from booking to checkout went well.
Place was clean and quiet. Made for a peaceful stay. Restaurants and grocery stores convenient, just a few minutes away.
