About this property

Chalet Bous - Breinchen

Absolute peace and privacy you will find in this detached house in Vianden. The chalet is situated high above Vianden and has a beautiful view of Vianden and the forest area. The owner has furnished the unique house in accordance with nature and will continue to perfect this in the coming years. There is a private parking space (access via a forest path, followed by a footpath of 20 m). You walk along the terrace to the balcony of the chalet. The living room and kitchen have a beautiful wooden floor. The bathroom, toilet and two bedrooms are also at ground level. From the living room there is a steep staircase up to the third bedroom. From the large covered balcony you have a spectacular view of the property and Vianden. The owner has paid a lot of attention to the outdoor area of the cottage. There is a large playground with swings, barbecue and two beautiful terraces. The swimming pool of Vianden is located within walking distance from the vacation home. The water in your vacation home comes from private source and is not checked.

Vianden is a well-known and cozy town on the border with Germany. Nestled in a very impressive nature and with many street cafes, stores and good tourist infrastructure, it is an attractive town. Across Vianden runs the Our, also border river to Germany. Vianden is also known for its large fortress from the House of Orange-Nassau (beautifully restored and really worth seeing), the Victor Hugo Museum and the interesting town hall. Vianden is rich in history, but also offers modern facilities. Take the chairlift up where you can enjoy the beautiful view. From here, several beautiful hiking trails are signposted. There is an adventure park with climbing opportunities for children and adults. Vianden also has an open swimming pool. Also you can visit the pumped storage plant and you can make a circular walk along the shore from the reservoir since summer 2015. From personal experience: highly recommended.

Wat is dit een geweldige plek met supermooi uitzicht. Het huis is compleet ingericht en schoon. Een mooie grote tuin en veel privacy. Een absolute aanrader.

Het was genieten in dit chalet. De locatie was boven verwachting gezien alle ruimte en voorzieningen buiten. Het uitzicht is prachtig en het huisje zeer compleet. We kunnen dit vakantieverblijf zeer aanbevelen.

1 Woche pure Entspannung

Alles in allem war es eine Wunderschöne Woche. Wir haben das gute Wetter mitgebracht :-) Die Lage ist 1A. Mann sollte nur alles an Lebensmitteln mitbringen was so verbraucht wird. Es gibt leider keinen Fußweg nach Vianden hinunter und es sind ca. 2-3km um ins Dorf zu fahren. Dafür entschädigt einfach die Aussicht und später auch die Ruhe. Das einzige was ich bemängeln würde ist, das es für 6 Personen viel zu klein ist. Das fängt schon mit dem Bad an. Wir waren jetzt nur zu zweit und da war es kein Problem. Für 4 Personen ist es ein wirklich schönes Ferienhaus mit tollem Grillplatz und jede Menge Verteilten Sitzplätzen um auch zu Chillen, Sonnenbäder oder Schattenbäder :-) zu nehmen. Im Ort gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen und eine phantastische Bäckerei und natürlich jede Menge Restaurants in denen man nach den Wanderungen gemütlich ein Bier trinken kann. Es war mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal das wir in dem Haus und Vianden waren.

A cozy escapade in Luxembourg

Very nice and cozy chalet in a gorgeous little touristic village in Luxembourg. It had everything we needed for our family of five. It might feel tight for more than four adults. The property, perched in isolation on the side of a hill overlooking Vianden has stunning grounds and access to many hikes within walking distance. The village is quiet but offers all the amenities you need including several restaurants. Note that there is no Internet provided (but there is good 4G coverage). The owner was very responsive in all the exchanges we had with him including for some minor troubleshooting.

Fantastisch

Ontzettende leuke en schone woning met veel prive ruimte buiten eromheen. Uitzicht is fantastisch. Eigenaar niet gezien maar wel gesproken, zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. We willen hier graag nog eens terugkomen!

weinig ruimte voor 6 pers

Woning is netjes en schoon. Veel buitenruimte. In slaapvertrekken weinig ruimte voor je kleding/spullen; daardoor goed voor 4 volwassenen (en geen 6 persoons-). TIP: breng wat ophangsystemen aan (haakjes in slaapkamers, haakjes voor je keukendoeken, enz).
