Highly Recommend for Large Groups

We had a group of 11 adults, and I cannot say enough great things about this house. There was plenty of room for everyone, and there was multiple nice places for everyone to hang out, both as large and small groups. The location was convenient, and the views were beautiful.

Room for a large group. Beds mostly in the basement. Good location close to Reykjavik, Golden Circle etc.

House was nice but needs some repairs and upkeep. Good location with easy access. Information provided was accurate on the area and shopping. Should list that there's also another apartment in the basement that's rented.

Incredible stay in Iceland

My family had a fantastic time in Iceland and this house was in the perfect location to catch tour busses and just out of the way enough to have a great view of the city. The house as clean and as described in the listing. The landlord was available for questions and provided information quickly. I would do it again!

Family trip

It could be a nice home, but lots of maintenance needed…oven not secure and drops out, broken handheld shower sprayer, washer and dryer not working, door to deck latches but lock was broken, messy laundry room, no instructions about trash. We were a family with cooking and laundry needs. Very disappointed as it was not cheap,

Kjartan met & checked-in my friends when they arrived ahead me and explained everything relevant about the property clearly. House was easily big enough for our group of 7, could easily have squeezed another 7 in if we'd needed to. Driveway was big enough for the two big 4x4's we'd rented, and the nearest bus stop to reach Reykjavik was only ~5 mins away. Would happily stay here again on our next Icelandic adventure.
