About this property
B&B in the heart of nature, between sea and mountains!
It's the unexpected moments that make your holidays unforgettable, the ones that leave you longing to return. There's no doubt that French Provence occupies a special place in this kind of nostalgia. Close your eyes, think ‘Provence’ and the image of a Peyemyan sheepfold comes to mind. Built of ashlar almost 400 years ago, protected by cypress trees the height of a tower, without the noise of civilisation thanks to the distance from the nearest neighbour. Modern features include high beamed ceilings, sun-drenched bedrooms, exclusive bathrooms, WLAN, several terraces and an oversized swimming pool. La Bergerie de Peymeyan is the ideal base for visiting the tourist attractions of the Côte d'Azur, including Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Monaco, the Gorges du Verdon and Aix-en-Provence. It's from here that you'll set off in the morning to explore the perfumers Fragonard and Molinard in Grasse, the beaches of the Mediterranean or the many mountain activities. In the late afternoon, you can relax on the terrace with a rose or cocktail, before spending the evening in one of the many restaurants. The top-of-the-range retreat for lasting memories.
3.5 hectares of land, the main house in the centre, a large swimming pool, several sun loungers and a large terrace - these are the features of the Bergerie de Peymeyan. Whether your thoughts turn to a quiche or a festive meal, the kitchen is equipped for it. The evening ends with a glass of rosé or a cocktail, and the children take one last dip in the pool for the day. La Bergerie is set in a peaceful natural environment, at the foot of hiking trails leading to two beautiful lakes.
With a south-facing view over the terrace and unspoilt nature, the Lavande suite is ideal for a family (4 people) or two couples of friends enjoying a comfortable experience within historic walls, but with an unexpected modernity. A sense of liberation from work and the daily grind settles in with the special light of Provence, whether by the pool, on the pétanque court or over a café-crème on the large terrace.
The Gallery Suite enhances the impression of the Lavender Suite, not only because the view extends further into the countryside but also because the light magically penetrates the room. The balcony - gallery - encourages you to think of yourself and adopt it as an island, where a book is all you need to forget the world for a few hours.
Lord Ashburn once allocated this studio to his factotum, Mr White, because the lord did not think it appropriate for his subordinate to live in the lordship's flats. Today, guests feel at home here. It's a retreat for two, with a modern bathroom and shower, WLAN, TV and southern views. The studio is ideal for travellers stopping off at La Bergerie. Or for teenagers who want to recharge their batteries in their digital world, away from their parents.
