This was honestly one of the best short term rentals stays we've ever had, and we've rented a lot of places over the years, all over the U.S. and in Europe too. The host has done a remarkable job turning this daylight basement into a space that's genuinely first-class — thoughtfully designed, well organized, and just really a pleasure to be in. The king bed was very comfortable too!Everything went smoothly. Booking, communication, check-in, responsiveness — all of it was great. The unit was spotless and clearly newly remodeled, and it was stocked with pretty much everything we needed - TV, books, games. Every appliance worked the way it should. With short-term rentals there's almost always some little quirk — a finicky shower, an awkward bathroom setup, something — but we didn't run into any of that here. It was just clean and easy. The host also left treats waiting for us, which was a nice touch. There's a little patio that was great for winding down in the evening, and the location is central and convenient. One small thing: the photos really don't do the place justice! In the listing, the lighting gives the walls and furniture a sort of pink tint, but in person there is no pink. It's much calmer and more tasteful — white tones with soft mint walls. Very nicely done. All in all, a wonderful stay and one of the most complete and well-managed rentals we've experienced. We'd absolutely stay again, and we recommend it highly.
