Super comfortable beds, quiet area, close to Safeway. We really enjoyed the hot tub under the stars and the pizza oven was a huge bonus for us.

This place is great for a large group! We had 3 couples and 5 kids and felt we had plenty of space to hangout together and also split up and do different things around the property – porch swings, backyard BBQ, gazebo, garage pool table, and landscaping to appreciate the outdoors. I would say you can easily have another family with young kids and fit well although the main living room is a little harder to get everyone together on the couch. As long as you don't have to do EVERYTHING together, I think the house is sufficient space-wise.The hot tub was a favorite for our group, everything around the house and spaces felt clean and comfortable. The kitchen had several counter appliances and coffee maker options (drip, french press, pod) - really it was at least a step or two above on the appliances than what you get in most places.For us, it was the proximity to Apple Hill since that was the main purpose of our group weekend trip, and the walkable Safeway grocery store (looked brand new to us), and eatery options. A convenient location and not a dense neighborhood made the visit relaxing.Needless to say, all the adults and kids had glowing feedback and its officially been added to our list of favorite stays for our big group trip to Apple Hill. Many thanks to the welcoming and responsive hosts!

Beautiful, spacious, welcoming home—perfect for our group of 9. Comfortable furnishings. We appreciated having enough seating for relaxing in the living room as well as for dining. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed. Lots of attention to details that made for an enjoyable stay. Good communication from the host as well.

Cleanest property we've ever stayed at! Kimmy and John were greats hosts, very responsive to any questions or requests. We loved how spacious the home was and it had everything we needed for our small family weekend trip. We'd definitely book again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!

The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The pizza oven was a nice bonus! The hot tub was lovely, the yard is beautiful and has plenty of space for everyone. The beds were super comfy, the massage chair in the king room was a wonderful suprise. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property. Kimmy and John were amazing hosts. Their communication was excellent. We needed balls for the foosball and they had them delivered through Amazon the next day. Very unexpected and kind.

Absolutely magical stay!

This place was wonderful! The hosts were easy to communicate with, and had provisioned the place wonderfully. The space allowed for family to be together, but also for needed times of solitude, which is great, with a large family.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home, perfectly decorated for Christmas! We appreciated the kitchen having all the necessary utensils for cooking family meals. The hosts were very accommodating to our requests. Couldn't have been a better situation for our 7 adults and 3 kids. The bowling alley/fun center nearby was a bonus, providing entertainment in the inclement weather.

Group Friend Trip - Apple Hill

We had a wonderful stay here. The house was so well stocked (especially the kitchen), location was great and it was large enough to fit us all very comfortably. The outdoor space was wonderful too - pizza oven was great! We had a great stay and highly recommend it!

Great location to Apple Hill farms and wineries. The house is large and laid out well. There is plenty of space to gather and enjoy family time. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware, utensils and cookware. We had everything we needed to cook at home. The beds were comfortable and it was great having so many bedrooms on the main floor. We enjoyed our stay.

Home was clean and well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host was very responsive. Especially enjoyed the smell of pine as you walked into the porch. Unfortunately it rained our entire stay so we weren’t able to enjoy any of the outside areas but they all appeared very nice.

Family Get Together

The property offered a nice relaxing time with the family. The proximity of the grocery store was convenient, also the distance to south lake Tahoe was good. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our 4 days in this home. Well appointed with lots of extra touches. Loved the hot beverage basket and chips! The few glitches were handled and communication with the owner was nearly instant in response. Thanks Kimmy and John .

Great home for large family

Owners are very responsive and helpful. The place is well suited for large families. We have 8 adults and 5 children ages 5 months to 8 years old plus 2 dogs. The kitchen is well equipped. TVs with Netflix in every room and many board games. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic home! Wonderful hosts!

Apple Hill has been a tradition for our family where many fond memories were made with our two daughters. The tradition continues now with six grandkids from 1year to 10 years old. This beautiful home accommodated the 12 of us with plenty of room to spare. The kids loved the house almost as much, if not more, than the apple farms and the lake nearby. Kimmy was especially responsive before and after we arrived with a few small concerns that made our stay even better. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful house and location

I would highly recommend this vacation rental. We stayed for a week, (10 of us altogether). I have stayed in many vacation rentals and this was the best. The house was beautiful and fully equipped for all our needs. We enjoyed the outside kitchen with the pizza oven, the hot tub and games area. We never felt crowded. The area is so wonderful, we hiked to waterfalls, swam in the lake, had a barbecue in Sly Recreation park. We also traveled to San Francisco and rode bikes over the Golden Gate. We were in California for a wedding, we had a perfect week in this house.

Lovely cozy home

Had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful home in the little town of Pollock pines. The home was fully lit up with Christmas lights and a nice Christmas tree. We had snow ball fights in the small backyard- the garden part of the backyard was closed due to winter. The best part was the kitchen with lots of new utensils and plates, bowls, cutlery. The rooms and beddings were comfortable and temperature controlled. The kids had a lovely time playing in the game room and loved sleeping on the bunk bed. Very close to skiing places and Tahoe. Had a lovely vacation. Would recommend for family and friends get togethers!

Wonderful home
