Great location, great views, great beach! Close to everything. Pool and beach are an elevator ride away. Great balcony to have coffee and watch sunrise. Very comfortable space. Check in was easy and host very helpful. It's a vintage building so not as sleek and modern as some but everyone is very welcoming and laid back. Beds are comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Lots of great restaurants walking distance or short drive. Winn Dixie grocery about a block away. Great place of kids and adults. We had a very nice stay.

This condo is literally a home away from home ! Everything you need is right there as if your in your own house , from cooking to cleaning to watching tv. It’s extremely clean and well maintained. Our family was so comfortable, the views were amazing, there’s all amenities you need , restaurants, coffee shop, gift shop, valet all on site. Los Olas blvd is right down the street! highly recommend this property. Our host was amazing and helped us with any questions.

Stayed for 3 nights at the ocean manor condo. The ocean, bar, beach, and location were by far my favorite aspects. I enjoyed the clean beach, the umbrellas available for rent, and walking to the “Lauderdale by the sea” restaurant and shopping area. The downsides to this condo are the age of the building (built in the 1950s). It is very worn inside and out, high trafficked. The common areas are very dirty, messy patio furniture and garbage. Even saw some barf puddle in the morning near the tiki bar. The tiki bar is open till 2 AM so the noise pollution from music and drinks is very present. We struggle with doors that were difficult to open and shut do to the age of the building, walls that were paper thin making it easy to hear the elevator ding. The bathrooms are located within the bedrooms so if you are planning on sleeping on the Murphy bed in the living room be prepared for that. We also struggled with the tiny size of both bathrooms and lack of vanity space. There was no broom to sweep up the sand on the floor, very few towels, and overall the condo itself is worn and weathered in different areas. I really appreciated the safe and luxurious area it was located in. I enjoyed taking a morning walk to Dunkin for a coffee, picking up seashells on the clean beach, and the overall friendliness of the residents and neighbors.

Great Vacation

Perfect place for a family. You can eat in with the full kitchen or there are two restaurants on site. It’s right on the beach with a pool. This is an easy place to enjoy.

Daughters 40th bday celebration

Overall we had a great time. The location of the Resort was right on the beach. Great view! The Tiki bar and restaurant had great food, there was also a very nice Italian restaurant on the property, that was fantastic.The building was older but it was okay. Everyone Had a great time.

Great Location, Beautiful View

What a beautiful condo and great location. Was a perfect set up for 5 adults and the bedding was super comfortable. Took a little adjusting to have the 5th person on the Murphy bed come into the bedrooms to use the bathroom but we made it work. Valet was super convenient. Great spot to relax and unwind.

The views from the condo are fantastic! Great little getaway for our family. The Kitchen had all your necessary items and the unit was nice and clean. Very responsive! Would definitely stay here again!!

Really great spot for a vacation. The property had all the amenities anyone could need. Loved the Tiki Bar. Convenient places across the street and other attractions are only a short uber away. The host was easy to work with as well!

The location and view of this property are amazing!!

We enjoyed being right on the beach! With the ability to choose between swimming in the ocean or hanging by the pool, there are options for everyone. We also loved the onsite tiki bar for delicious and convenient lunches and drinks. Nearby there are also many amenities, including shopping and a grocery store. We loved our stay!

Great place!

We loved our stay here. It was as described in the listing and had all the comforts of home. The cabana was great to use with 3 little kids at the beach. The owner was very quick to reply to messages. We had no issues on our trip and I would recommend this location!

An awesome getaway from the cold and snow

We absolutely loved this unit. The location was probably the best in the complex, with views from the balcony of the ocean, the pool, palm trees and the Tiki Bar. Both restaurants had great food and just having them there was such a bonus. The valet service was friendly and fast. We will definitely be back!

Paradise on the Beach

Everything you need in 1 location. Pool, beach, & Tiki bar just steps from our unit. Restaurants, coffee shops, & grocery store within walking distance. Condo was end unit with awesome views of beach & pool. The owner / host couldn't be more accommodating. Hope to get back soon !!

Great place for the price.

If you've been to the ocean manor before you know what you're getting into. It's an older building that needs a but of work. This was one of the nicest units I've stayed in at the ocean manor though. Had everything we needed for a few days of r&r on the beach. Yea, there are nicer places out there but they come with a much heftier price. I'd stay here again.

Call units are not equal and I'm so glad we tried again because we found an ace! Staying at Ocean Manor is almost like being at all inclusive. You can just stay put if you want to or you're less than a mile in either direction of so much to do.

Beautiful ocean view

Pros: gorgeous ocean view; spectacular full-moon moonrise over the ocean was highlight of our visit, nice glassware, comfortable plentiful seating, smart choices in balcony furniture, excellent storage for unpacking items, mostly very quiet (except for Tiki bar party on Thursday night), very responsive hostess, many walking-distance options, on-site Italian restaurant was very good. Cons: prevalent weed smell in elevator, building hallways, and occasional wafting into balcony area, MB bed disruptively squeaky loud (just getting in/out and rolling over), need more towels and bathmats, no tissues, non-family friendly behaviors and skanky outfits (related to Tiki bar staff and customers).

Lack of communication

The owner did not respond to any of my questions or requests. This made it stressful at times. I even tried to call and it went right to voice mail. The owner had housekeeping knock on our door right at check-out time to ensure we were leaving. Positive: The place was nice. The location and views are incredible. The hotel staff was pleasant, with good food and a nice pool. Negative: It costs extra to sit on the beach. Once we checked in we found out that the hotel rents the same unit for almost 150 less daily. You need to pay 20 per day to park.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay here. It was just me and my 4 kids and there was plenty of space and the sleeping arrangements were excellent. The unit was spotless when we checked in and having the full kitchen and 2 bathrooms made our trip so much easier. The location is also amazing. It’s a decent walk to Commercial Ave but we did it multiple times on the beach back and forth and it was a great way to end the day. The building itself was a little chaotic but it was never an issue in terms of the beach or the pool being overcrowded. In the evenings we never heard the tiki bar that was open late or have any issues with noise at all which was awesome. The balcony was such a nice touch and had amazing views of the beach and the sunrise each morning. I would highly recommend this for a larger family or even 2 couples to enjoy Fort Lauderdale / Lauderdale by the Sea. I hope to be back!!

Wonderfully well appointed Home away from Home!

We loved this property. It felt like "home" to us. We had our family staying in the condo and our extended family- aunts and uncles, cousins, godparents and inlaws- stayed at nearby hotels and came by to visit us daily. We had family meals together, served buffet style on the kitchen island. We played cards on the huge dining room table. We watched the sun come up, together, every day, on the balcony. I put out a huge tray of holiday treats on the cafe table by the living room window overlooking the sea- where we all gathered and gazed at the lovely vista. This condo was our "home" for nine wonderful days. The owner, Noah, is/was incredibly responsive and attentive. His home is very well appointed with everything you may (or may not!) need. We've never come across a nicer, kinder owner. If you are looking for comfort in a prime location, look no further: you've found it here.

Fun and Convenient Location

Our family was in Ft Lauderdale for the commissioning of the USS Ft Lauderdale. There was enough space for all six of us, and we all enjoyed the convenience and fun of the beach, pool, and Bamboo Beach Tiki Hut. Warning! Their meals are delicious but the portions are very large. There was an HVAC issue in the master bed and bath which created a water leak and damage in the master bath as well as the second bedroom’s hallway. The other two units kept us from being unbearably hot. Noah assured us he would have it repaired before the next guests arrived. Oh! We also enjoyed the Dollar Game a previous guest started. Fabulous Beach Vacation!

Great spot for a family beach vacation. We loved the gorgeous views of the ocean from the condo. 3 min. down the elevator and out the door and you are at the Tiki Bar and pool. 30 seconds further and you are in the sand! Perfect location! In only a 5 minute walk, you can hit McDonalds, the deli, the liquor store and the grocery store. Noah provided a sturdy grocery cart to haul things so no car needed! Several little touches to make the stay more comfortable like shelving in the bathrooms, sand chairs provided, excellent blender, Keurig, etc! Condo layout is awesome. Spacious with Plenty of seating. The Murphy Bed is a bonus! A few items in need of attention but as stated in previous reviews, new owner is working on freshening things up a bit. Can't wait to see the improvements which will make this place absolutely perfect! Noah was friendly and unbelievably prompt at returning messages and doing whatever he could to make our stay perfect. We had an amazing trip!

Disappointed with host

Myself and four friends stayed here for a girls vacation. We are all in our 50’s and were looking forward to our getaway. I had told the host we would be landing early and she informed me I could not have an early check in (which I totally understood). When we arrived, we wanted to at least be able to leave our luggage with the front desk and we figured we would go have lunch to kill some time. The front desk told us it would be 10 per bag. I thought that was crazy since it is also a hotel, so I messaged the host to ask if there was somewhere else we could leave them. She never responded. Later on as it got closer to checkin, I tried calling the host and she didn’t answer. When we finally heard back from her (hours later) it was to let us know what room number we were in. Ok so we all expect to hit some bumps when traveling. When we get to the condo, which is beautiful, there are four bath towels. That’s it…for FIVE women. And only TWO rolls of toilet paper. We messaged the host and she never responded at all during our entire stay. We had to take towels from the pool and buy toilet paper. That is unacceptable in my opinion. I have stayed at other condos in the Ocean Manor and have had wonderful experiences. This would have been wonderful as well if the host would have been responsive and helped rectify any issues. The unit is clean, updated and has a beautiful view. And Ocean Manor itself never disappoints. I will be renting a different unit yearly moving forward.
