Let me start by saying how much we LOVE Marco Island! We first visited in 2015 for a vacation, and it’s been our home away from home ever since. Over the years, we’ve added three condos to our collection to accommodate our growing family.
Our permanent residence is in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, but we make it a priority to spend at least five weeks a year soaking up the sunshine and charm of Marco Island.
This condo is the newest addition to our collection and has quickly become a favorite getaway for my husband and me. It’s perfect for making new friends, thanks to the vibrant social opportunities in the community. My husband and our youngest love the early morning and evening fishing on the pier, often resulting in fresh-caught dinners. The convenience of having a bait shop at the end of the pier makes planning the day effortless.
The pool area is amazing, complete with a cabana for gathering and setting up for a relaxing day. We also love the location, which is walking distance to some of our favorite spots like Snook Inn, Ole Marco Pub, and Marek’s Bar and Bistro.
As boaters, we make it a point to rent a boat from the marina next door—an easy and affordable way to explore. Whether it’s fishing, cruising through the 10,000 Islands, or navigating the calm waters of the mangroves, there’s always an adventure waiting. My personal favorite trip? A quick ride to Naples for lunch.
