Simplicity Condo
What is the true meaning of simplicity? :the state of being simple, uncomplicated, or uncompounded. This was an EPIC trip for me and my teenage boys, 12 & 14. For Spring Break 2024, we chose to go big; Park City Utah. I was worried because I was spending $2,000 on accommodation rather than $5,000. I wasn’t sure what we were going to get. Well.. what we got was fantastic. This condo was so simple it was perfect. The check in was seamless. The condo was clean and as I said, really simple. Although the kitchen wasn’t very big; if you needed something, you just keep opening Cabinets until you find it. The bonus was the washer and dryer. We were able to wash the clothes we sweated in all day snowboarding. There’s a bus stop right in front of the condominium. We used Lyft a lot too. My boys loved the bunk beds made from a Full on the bottom and a Twin on the top. I don’t think there’s a better two bedroom condo in Park City; NOT at these prices!! We will be back!

As advertised
We have stayed in this building more than once. Right on the free bus system. Unit was clean and appropriately equipped. Less stars for check-in because we were told we had to come to the office to get keys, when in fact you only use a key code to get in. This could have been done via email.

A rough start
Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property itself was fine--the building is a little dated, and having a hot tub in a gazebo in the lobby is a little strange, but it was clean and safe and easy to get around Park City. Unfortunately, there were no "staples" for the kitchen, but everything was in working order and clean. My biggest complaint was the lack of communication prior to arrival and the confusion that that instigated. The email with instructions on where to go to get the access codes etc was lost under a "no_reply" email from Escapia... nothing through VRBO and nothing from Alpine Ski Properties in the email address. Therefore, it got lost and was very upsetting. VRBO couldn't help either. In addition, this company does not work on weekends, which I find it amazing that you can run a vacation rental company only working M-f 9-5... Don't most people arrive at their vacation on Saturday or Sunday? To have absolutely no way to contact them through regular channels is ridiculous. The directions were deplorable, and really: so much of the confusion and frustration and anxiety about not knowing where to go and not having anyone to talk to could have been alleviated by better communication and professional personal customer service.

Bare minimum, no frills
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was Okay.*I rented this specifically for 2 bathrooms for my family of 5. For 2 of our 5 days, we couldn't use the second shower due to drainage issues. First night, the shower would not drain and it overflowed to the outside. They came to "fix it" with drano, i'm sure. but the second night it backflowed brown stinky gunk from the drain with a strong smell. coming in both nights ready for a hot shower, we all had to wait on the one shower that was still working. I know that sounds petty, but again, i rented this specifically for the 2 bathrooms. they did however get a plumber upon request, i guess a bright side. *no extra blankets or comforters provided, if someone wanted to cozy up in front of the fireplace to watch TV, there was no throw/blanket. i thought maybe a ski condo would have atleast 1 in the den/family room. the ones we have rented in the past have extras for guest. *kids' room fitted sheets were dirty when we walked in at 9pm. my kids slept on top of the flat sheets until i could wash the next day. *it's an old condo that needs major upgrades. panel doors under the sink were hanging off. coffee table legs were wobbly, sink fixtures were rusting, shower drainage not working, not as clean as It could. *convenient location was a plus. views were great. kitchen was equipped (bring your own salt/pepper), management did have quick response.

Great place for skiing for the weekend.
The place is perfect for a small group to ski for the weekend. Location is great. They do need a better blinds in the bedroom closest to the lobby because it is extremely bright in there.
